We recently got the opportunity to talk to Resident Circuit Judge for Jefferson County, Illinois Jo Beth Weber to discuss her experience operating an innovative and successful drug treatment court. Judge Weber’s program provides comprehensive, evidence-based substance abuse treatment for applicants who would otherwise be routed to the jail and prison system to serve out their sentences.
