I do not get to animate much human figures but when I do, freaking love it!! Also, for those who asked me if this was Rotoscope, the answer is nope. Nothing against it, just prefer not to do it.

I had the opportunity to animate two scenes for Blue - CNN, A project directed. produced and designed for Moth, It is a series of well crafted short films that give you a deeper concept of color. I like adding subtle movements that helps building more personality to the characters. If you have not heard about MOTH, please go and check their work :)

Yesterday I posted my rough animation for this project with Oddfellows, it is a series of family oriented cute, charming spots for AirBnB. My animation starts from when the pancake is on the air onwards, one of the things I enjoy the most about animation is adding little extra details to make the scenes more appealing.

Make sure that the main like in your life is "You, liking and loving yourself" Sometimes life could be hard and difficult but please bear in mind that there are people who love you and would help you when you need them. I am not sure why I wrote this but I think it is important from time to time to remind yourself and others about the importance of reaching out when feeling sad. x

This is my first project with Poylester studios in Canada, A new friendship starts. A little dog find an ussual companion for his journey.
I have the opportunity to lead this project, this is my rough animation for the project, I'll be posting the final spot so it will make more sense, yep the dog is not flying!

This is one of my favourite projects, I get very excited every time I work in a project animating animals, there is so much information to play with. I normally animate straigh ahead, I try to avoid looking at references to have more freedom. I personally think that it works for me, specially when doing some action/movement scenes.

You do not fool me!! that's what this dog thought when his best friend was hiding medicine in his food, hehehe bless her. On my previous post I mentioned that after doing some sketches I do a rough animation to work out timing, actions and emotions. In this video you can see the animation is very rough but you can read the action. Next post would be an animation of the most energertic dog ever :) any idea what dog could be?

One of my favourite jobs was leading the animation for this TV advert for Greenies, I normally do some sketches of the characters before starting animating, then I do a very rough test line and when I am pleased with the animation I do a second pass. This advert was produced by Studio Aka, lovely character design and direction by Steve Small.

This one is the last one from the series of animation for BBC One Christmas idents, one of the challenge we faced was the time to execute the job. The best solution was to create a general beginning and ending so we could focus on the action in between and play with different ideas, I really enjoy animating the cuckoo bird. There is one more that did not make the cut so I'll see if I post it on Monday, Sorry for cuckoo spam!!

This is the second animation for the BBC One Christmas idents. I had the opportunity to work with the BBC Creative team, developing some of their Christmas idents. There is a tiny little surprise popping out towards the end. I hope you like it!
It's great to work with Luke carpernter, he was the job supervisor in this project, and Joceline Fenton who did a lovely work cleaning up the animation, character design Teddy by Hall.

This is one of my last projects from last year, I had the opportunity to work with BBC creative team, developing and animating a series of animations for their Christmas Idents, A friendly cuckoo bird will pop out wishing you a great holidays!
