Ever heard of the "Hook"?
For every marketing campaign, and it doesn't matter for what medium. Be it Paid, Organic, Optimisation, etc. it is of the utmost importance to know how to grab your audiences attention.
Most people are too busy to spend time reading through your post. In 2017 the attention span of the average person was 7 seconds on one frame. Today that average has dropped to only 3 seconds! (that's a huge difference, and that's probably why "TicTok" has become so popular amongst youngsters these days).
Therefore you have to engage your prospect or reader to be interested in reading through to the end.
For that, we use a "hook" to give the reader a reason to even pay attention to our posts. otherwise, they will simply scroll past our post and that is money on the table.
But how do you come up with the right hook?
the answer is. ASK QUESTIONS. but not just any questions, the RIGHT Questions!
After researching and knowing your audience, you will know what questions your readers want answering. And you will also know in what tone of voice they are listening out for. When you get to know your audience, and you know what their needs are. THAT is when you will know how to answer their inner desires, questions and have them engage with your content.
