We hope that you enjoyed Episode 03 about GPs and accessing healthcare through your GP surgery. This week, our guests spoke about veteran-friendly GP practices. Depsite the name, veteran friendly GPs are trained to help all members of the Armed Forces community including reservists, serving personnel and families, as well as veterans.

These GPs have specific training to make them aware of what services are available exclusively to the Armed Forces community as well as having an understanding of the culture - many of them have some involvement in military life and may be veterans themselves.

We hope that you enjoyed Episode 02 exploring the transition from military to civilian healthcare.

One of our main takeaways from this week's episode was when you leave the military find a GP in your area and let them know that you are a member of the Armed Forces community. Be proactive and don't wait until you have a problem to register - register early. The same goes for families and dependents - GPs can help guide you to services more easily with this knowledge in hand. Here is the link in case you missed it: https://loom.ly/QAL138I
