After having a child, I realized that society often believes mothers can't:
- Complain (Who told you to have kids?)
- Cry (Why are you crying? Did you think it would be easy?)
- Get tired (Of what? You do nothing!)
- Sleep (You're lazy!)
- Rest (You'll have plenty of time for that after they grow up.)
- Get pregnant again (Are you crazy? How many more kids do you want?)
- Quit work (How will you support your child?)
- Work (Who will take care of the child?)
- Leave them at nursery (Don't let others raise your child!)
- Be a housewife (Poor husband, who works hard while his wife stays at home!)
- Be single (No one wants a woman with children.)
- Go out for fun (Why are you leaving your child with grandma to have fun?)
And you know what's worse?
90% of these phrases are spoken by other women.
Let's learn to be more supportive of each other. I'm human, and I love my kids, but I've felt all these emotions at some point.

I'm in love with the way my boys travel room turned out! The best part is, they both love it, too! Jackson had a nursery to himself before we moved into this house, so I put together (in a hurry) a shared room for them and went with a jungle theme. It was cute, but they like this theme sooooo much more! Both of my boys are into airplanes, cars, trucks, vehicles in general and Nolan has been interested in learning about the globe, so the maps and travel theme is perfect! I carried out the last piece of the crib that was once not only Jackson's, but also Arabella's crib. Bittersweet.... Babies don't keep!

I'm 5 and digging it! 👷♂️🦺🛑 I don't know how the heck it's already been five years, but.....
Today, Nolan wakes up as a 5 year old! Happy 5th birthday to the sweetest little boy you will ever meet. I'm bringing cupcakes, pretzels and caprisuns to his classroom today so he can party with his friends on his special day at school + a special dinner outing for him this evening. 🥳 🎉

My house is so cozy for Christmas! This is baby Jackson's first year being able to help decorate and hang up his stocking. 81°F Pumpkin patch day! I have the cutest pumpkin patch outfit for baby Jackson this year that says, "cutest pumpkin in the patch, but since it was so hot, we resorted to jack o'lantern shirts for the boys, Bella's jack o'lantern dress and all Adi's pumpkin shirts are long sleeved, but nonetheless, we all had a blast! Georgia is just hot! 😅

Nolan is so excited for Pre-k this year, Arabella is ready for Kindergarten and Adilynn is off to 7th grade! Baby Jackson will miss his big brother this year. He will miss them all, but he played with Nolan last year while the girls went to school. I hope all your littles have a wonderful school year!
