Zach Galifianakis Paid Old Homeless Woman's Rent for Decades & Spent Time with Her as She Lost Her Family

When Zach Galifianakis met Marie "Mimi" Haist, she was volunteering in a laundromat, surviving off tips left by customers. She was only allowed to sleep between the washers and dryers so customers couldn't see her.

Haist revealed that she became homeless after her divorce and had been on the streets for decades. Even though Galifianakis was an unknown comedian at the time, he found a comfortable apartment for her and paid her rent.

Galifianakis became a Hollywood star after filming alongside Bradley Cooper in the "Hangover" movie trilogy. However, his fame didn't affect his heart, and he remained down-to-earth.

He maintained a strong bond with Haist and even walked a red carpet with her as his date.

"If he's in town, he takes me ... I dress up nice, and a friend helps me with my makeup. It's fun, not something I've ever dreamed I'd experience. The limo takes me home afterward," revealed Haist.

Their friendship lasted nearly 27 years until she died at 96 years old.

Lisa Marie Presley and her ex-husband and dad of her two kids, Danny Keough, came back together to lean on one another while mourning their son. "I knew this is the one man I could be connected to for the rest of my life," Lisa once said about him.

"Danny has moved a lot in the past but came back to be by Lisa's side immediately when they were left devastated by Ben's death; he was staying with her at the Beverley Hills Hotel," revealed an insider. Then they moved into a new home in Calabasas. Danny was an excellent support system for her, and he was the one who tried to save Lisa when she suffered from possible cardiac arrest.

Lisa's housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom, and Danny rushed to the rescue. He performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. She died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition. Lisa was 54.

"No, mommy, no!" Johnny threw himself on the floor and started screaming. Marla Evans sighed. Not again! She looked at her watch. If he threw a full tantrum, she would be late yet again.

She gazed at her three-year-old with exasperation. Johnny had been going to daycare for two years and always loved it. For the last week, out of the blue, he'd been making a scene, begging Marla not to take him.

"Stop it!" Marla heard herself scream, then she saw the look of fear in her son's eyes. Something wasn't right.

Marla sat down on the floor next to Johnny and coaxed him into her lap.

"Honey," Marla said gently. "I'm sorry. Mommy didn't mean to snap." She rocked him until he stopped crying and asked gently, "Why don't you like daycare anymore?"

Johnny shivered in her arms and whispered, "I don't like!"

"But why, sweetie?" Marla asked. "Are the other kids mean?" But Johnny wouldn't answer.

Bobby begs for food, but no one knew where he lived until Father Harris followed him to the outer limits of the small town and discovered what was truly going on.

“Father, a little boy named Bobby comes to my house everyday asking for food. He can’t be older than seven years old,” Mrs. Santiago told him after Sunday mass. “Can we do something for him?”

“He only asks you for food?” the priest asked.

“Yes, I always give him a little something. He said it was for his sick mom who couldn’t work. But when I asked him where he lived, he said ‘There,’ and pointed in a random direction.” Mrs. Santiago clarified.

“Thank you, Mrs. Santiago. I’ll try to do something” the priest said.

Bobby came out to see why the dog was barking, and his eyes flared after seeing Father Harris.

Not surprisingly, Mercedes, 31, and Jack, 27, followed in his footsteps. They inherited not only his talent but also his facial features and physique. Especially his son, who looks like a young Val.

Henry Winkler, a.k.a Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli in "Happy Days," was raised with a "high level of low self-esteem." In his childhood, he never felt heard by his parents, who called him a "dumb dog." While growing up, Winkler went to bed every night and swore he would never be like his parents. He strove to keep this promise to himself when he became a father.

“I think one of the most important things in being a parent is seeing your child in front of you as who they are — not who you want them to be. If you do that, it solves about two million problems right off the bat,” admitted the actor.

Today he appears so happy alongside his adult children, who are his carbon copies. They often accompany Winkler to various events, showing their support. And he was thrilled when they made him a grandpa.
