I would have LOVED to see Vitor Roque as our back up striker. Right now, we have no natural back up striker to pressure Lewandowski. I'm not saying that's the only nor the main reason for his current level, but having a quality back up striker could definitely help, imo.

However, Barca will prioritize other things this transfer window, according to multiple sources.

It's clear for everyone that Lewandowski hasn't been near his best this season, but he is still a fundamental player for us - even at 35 years of age! Yes, his touches have lacked a lot of control recently, but he isn't a play maker, he is a goal scorer, and he still shows that. In fact, he has won us 10 points with his goals this season🔥

He obviously still must improve if we are to hope for trophies this season, but saying he should be shipped is beyond my understanding. Again, I know it's frustrating seeing the ball get away from him at times, I definitely think so too, but let nothing take away his abaility to score goals. No one else in our team is able to do what he does in front of goal - no one. And that is what we must remember. Cause obviously, it's easy to just say, "Get him out of the team." Yeah, but who should replace him then? We have no other REAL goal scorer.

Lewandowski does his job. Could he do it better? Yes, obviously. But he does do a decent job, and even at his lowest, he does more than most strikers in the WORLD. He just needs to regain his usual self, then he will be even more crucial for us this season 🙌

We were NOT GOOD today. Not even close! But we grabbed the 3 important points and that's what counts...RIGHT NOW. However, we MUST improve, and we must do it NOW! I truly hope that somehow this coming international break will do something good for the team. Don't know how, but I pray for it!

Anyway, we keep going, we keep supporting OUR CLUB!❤💙

Before Bellingham got injured, I saw so many people calling Real Madrid out, saying they would fall once they don't have Jude on the pitch. I'm not one to say whether or not they play worse with or without him on the pitch, but they SHOWED UP yesterday, winning 5-1 vs Valencia - without Bellingham.

And I have thought for quite a long time, that I can actually not think of a team which relies as much on one single player as Barca do. Before, it was Messi - and fair enough, as he is the greatest ever. But now, it's our midfielder Frenkie De Jong.

Without him on the pitch, we find it rather difficult to create chances at all. And just look at Romeu, how much his level has fallen since De Jong's absence started. It's crazy to me how much De Jong means to the team.

I really wish we somehow change this, but I do not have the solution.
Yesterday, Real Madrid had so, so many absences, but still went on to make a show. Barca, at the moment, can't.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Arsenal TERMINATED his contract because of 'attitude problems'. Xavi knew he would get the best out of him, despite his age of 32 years old.

The Gabonese striker ended up scoring 13 goals and provided an assist in just 24 games - and this was in a season when we struggled more than seen in multiple DECADES!

He ended up being joint-TOP SCORER for Barca that season, despite being there for only HALF a season! 🔥🇬🇦

After Ansu Fati's 4 goals (and 1 assist) in 600 minuted played for Brighton, I now see so many fans saying, "This just proves that we should never have loaned out Fati." I mean, what do you actually mean? This proves the exact OPPOSITE.

Ansu Fati isn't quite thriving at Brighton (yet), so it isn't like he would go directly into any team in the world. There is a reason he's got 600 minutes and not every minute possible - he'll have to work for that, and I believe he will.

Brighton is a good suit for Ansu, as they generally play quite good offensive football. Amazing for an attacker like Ansu. He has now scored 4 goals for the English club and it's amazing for his confidence and his progression. Absolutely LOVE it!🔥

But, I see comments like, "Ansu would have and should have started over the likes of Ferran Torres & Raphibha. The short answer and fact is: No, he wouldn't. And no, he shouldn't. At least not yet. He has a lot to learn still, and perhaps it will come - perhaps it will come after this season, it might come after a few season. No one knows. But loaning him to a good English club who plays European football was such a good move for him and by Barca - no doubt about it🔥

IF this news is true, Barca just prove yet again that they do not know how to do business. We have seen it so, so many times. They back out of promising deals, if they are not hyped enough, and only go after players who are so hyped that their price skyrockets. We have seen it with a bunch of players, namely Dembele, Coutinho, Andre Gomes, and I could go on forever.

This time, please just do something half smart. That's all I'm asking for.

I hadn't posted about his João Felix' "goal drought" before right now. And you know why I didn't? Because people tend to believe that such stats mean the player is off of his game. And Felix is everything but that! He is still doing amazingly well - one of our most dangerous players by far!🔥

It annoys me so much when the media and related pages post stats like these. Not because they are not allowed to do so - they obviously decide it themselves. But because they rarely show any context to the stats.

The Portugese winger has NOT slowed much down since his arrival, he is still doing amazingly well. And everyone who watches the matches and pays attention to it can and will see it 🙌🇵🇹

I will not comment much on our performance...because we all know that was p*ss poor. We know it, Xavi knows it, everyone knows it. It must CHANGE!

However, I will talk about the BEST right back in the world - even when we play like THIS! Cancelo has been nothing short of PHENOMENAL for us this season. If we want to be taken seriously, we MUST buy this man for next season, and the sooner we get it settled, the better!

Can we all just talk about the fact that Girona have gone from an impressive 10th place last season, as promoters, to now TOPPING the league with 12 rounds played! One of the MAIN reasons for this is Eric Garcia 🙌 Here is why:

Girona OUTSCORE their opponents. They have scored 29 goals in 12 games. They have been behind in their matches multiple times this season, but they do not give up, they just keep scoring goals. And this is, among other things, because of their two centre backs, Dailey Blind & Eric Garcia. Their passing and progression from the back!

They have an incredible team all around, and I actually hope they can continue this path, cause they are doing amazingly well so far🔥

Crazy how different our two halves were. In the first half, we should have closed the match. We should have been in front by at least 2 or 3 goals. We SHOULD have taken advantage of our many chances. That's definitely something we MUST work on, because it's far from the first time and probably will not be the last either.

It wasn't a poor performance by the team, however, we should have got more from it. We kind of fell apart in the second half, I feel...

Either way, we look FORWARD, and four points from the top is not unreachable at all!
