Job responsibilities of a bus conductor

1. Waking up early each day

2. Wipe/clean the vehicle each morning prior to on the road

3. Must be an energetic person to open and close the door each time a passenger(s) enters and exit.

4. Properly arrange passengers' belongings in the bus to make room/space for all

5. Must possess a good deep voice to call out at bus stops on the destinations of the bus

6. Must have a patient heart during call-outs at bus stops/bus bays

7. Must be able to work long hours. E.g. 6am to 9pm

8. Must have basic numeracy/mathematical skills

9. Must be physically fit to stand all the time and always be prepared to open the door at any point of stop, even though it was not a bus stop

10. If the bus is empty and on the road, be always on the look out for possible passengers

11. Posses basic mechanical skills such as change tyres or refil water in the radiator when the bus come across such mechanical problem

12. Push the bus to the refilling station or run to the fuel depo if the bus empty while on the road

13. The most important one, If an infant/baby or an elderly sh*ts in a bus, you are the one responsible to clean the mess up
