₱350M BANANA DEVOURED BY MILLIONAIRE 😧

The infamous banana sold in a New York City auction for over ₱350M on November 21 was eaten by its purchaser.

The art piece, titled "Comedian", was purchased by Justin Sun, a Chinese cryptocurrency mogul.

"It's much better than any banana, it is very good", he said while eating an amount equal to about 3.5 million 1-piece chickenjoy ala carte meals from Jollibee. (via Lieniel Gabuni)

TARLAQUEÑO BECOMES NCAA CHAMP 🥇🏸

Tarlaqueño Michael Garcia decorates his NCAA career with an explosive season finish by ending San Beda University's four-peat streak to claim the NCAA Men’s Badminton Tournament championship title on November 21 at the Power Up Centro Atletico in Quezon City.

The De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde student alongside the Benilde Blazers dominated the elimination round with a 5–1 record, their only loss coming against the defending champions, San Beda, in a 0–3 defeat.

They advanced to the Final Four and overcame San Sebastian with a 2–1 record to secure a spot in the finals.

Faced with the defending champions, the homegrown Tarlaqueno started the team match strong, delivering powerful smashes that left his opponents stunned.

Convinced with leaving his mark, he stomped his match, 21–17 and 21–14, earning the team its first win, 1-0, in the championship series.

However, their doubles team fell short, resulting in a 1–1 tie for the Blazers.

With slim hopes, a decisive singles victory from one of Garcia's teammates secured the championship with a 2–1 overall record.

“Syempre sobrang saya! until now it feels surreal na nakuha namin yung championship. Lahat ng pagod at hirap na ginawa namin sa training nag bunga. Pinag handaan talaga namin tong season 100 since yun nga minsan lang magkaroon ng league na aabot ng 100, hinding hindi agad to mabubura.”, Garcia said in an interview.

San Beda is a very good team! Kumbaga complete package sila from their rosters at sa mga sponsors. Kami wala kami non, support from school lang talaga kami. It’s just a matter of kung sino talaga gustong manalo this season! With perseverance and determination, masasabi ko na ito yung pinaka best gift na nakuha ko ngayon taon”, he added. "PEPITO" WEAKENS TO TYPHOON, NOW CROSSING NUEVA VIZCAYA 🌀⚠️

"Pepito" loses its speed and decelerates to a typhoon after making landfall over mainland Luzon this afternoon, says PAGASA in their 8:00pm bulletin.

"Pepito" will significantly weaken as it crosses more land but it will still exit Luzon as a devastating typhoon.

As of now, it still carries devastating winds of up to 165 km/h sustained and a gustiness of up to 275 km/h.

"Pepito" is forecast to exit the landmass of Luzon via Pangasinan, La Union, or southern Ilocos Sur tonight or tomorrow early morning, says PAGASA.

Signal no. 3 now prevails over the towns of Paniqui, La Paz, Moncada, City of Tarlac, Gerona, Pura, San Clemente, Santa Ignacia, Victoria, Camiling, Concepcion, Ramos, San Manuel, Anao.

While signal no. 2 is raised over Capas, Bamban, Mayantoc, and San Jose.
