• Sh*tty sleep routine : I will beat this horse until my arm falls off.

SLEEP IS CRITICAL TO LIVING A GOOD LIFE.

Try this: No caffeine after noon, no phone after nine.

• Scrolling in the morning : This is an incredible way to kill the momentum of your day.

Flooding your brain with cortisol and unearned dopamine in the morning can leave you feeling sluggish for the rest of the day.

Try this: Keep your phone off for an hour after you wake.

• Eating over-processed crap : Regardless of whether your diet is paleo, keto, or Oreos - this applies.

Anything highly processed will take a lot of energy for your body to digest.

Skip the take-out if you want to feel energized.

Try this: Eat single ingredient foods with fewer processing steps.

• Not moving your ass : Energy is like kindness.

The more you give, the more you get.

Gentle stress put on our heart and lungs

is a GOOD thing. Get moving.

Things Need to "Train Out" of brain to stay happy.

1. Perfectionism

Perfectionism involves inappropriate levels of expectations and intangible goals. It often produces problems for adults, adolescents, and children.

2. Social COMPARISON

When we compare ourselves to others we often find ourselves lacking. Healthy social comparison is about finding what you admire in others and learning to strive for those qualities. However, the best comparisons we can make are with ourselves

3. Materialism

Attaching our happiness to external things and material wealth is dangerous, as we can lose our happiness if our material circumstances change

4. Maximizing

Maximizers search for better options even when they are satisfied. This leaves them little time to be present for the good moments in their lives and with very little gratitude.
