Mercedes AMG SL43 | The Worst Mercedes EVER?!?

Hybrid 2.0L inline turbo 4 cylinder, rear wheel drive, rag top convertible, red leather interior, and designed by AMG... what could go wrong??? Well..... everything as it turns out, including the price tag of $120k+

This 2023 Mercedes Benz AMG SL43 convertible sports coupe was frustrating at the best of times and broken the rest of the time.

The 2023 (and the largely unchanged 2024) Subaru of America, Inc. BRZ gets much less love than its Toyota USA GR86 counterpart.... and for no good reason. Both sports coupe sisters are INCREDIBLE vehicles with the classic sports car layout of front engine, rear-wheel drive, & manual transmission. There is NOT a "better" driver's car on the market for the same money! (Less than $35k as tested, with options)

This 2023 & the upcoming 2024 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat are the LAST vehicles in the Dodge, Ram, Jeep, lineup to be equipped with this Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8. We relive our childhood fantasies while driving this, 1st year of production, 1991 Lamborghini Diablo. This vintage supercar is the successor to the Countach and had 2 body styles. 1991-1998 had the classic pop-up headlights and the 1999-2001 cars had a facelift, using the Nissan shared fixed headlights and a much more Murcielago looking face.

The 2024 Nissan Frontier....... and the 2023, & 2022 are largely a generational update to the previous body style, and you know what, that's OKAY!
As long as you know that the underpinnings of this midsized pickup are more old-school than most of the competition, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this formula!
With a Naturally Asperated V6, Traditional Transmission, Transfer Case, Locking Rear Diff, Leaf Springs, and Mono-Tube Shocks, she's a modern classic.

This 2023 Cadillac Escalade V packs a monstrous hand-built 6.2L Supercharged V8 making 682hp & 683lb-ft of torque powering all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Launch control is incredibly easy to engage time & time again. Finally, the exhaust pops & burbles while in Sport or V mode like an absolute menace.

As General Motors & all its brands move ever closer to an all EV lineup, the American small-block company once again shows that automotive enthusiasts and gear heads still work in their engineering department!

Oh yeah, and it is still an Escalade. So an incredible American luxury interior is still present in the V model.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz E450 convertible harkens back to the 80s and 90s Hollywood movies depicting some hotshot detective cruising around Beverly Hills with the drop-top down. Of course, this new Mercedes-Benz has all the modern amenities and it is much more fun and intuitively designed than the current All Electic Mercedes EQE sedan.
