Lets talk about consistency 💫

Consistency is key when posting content online. When we talk about consistency, the two most important things to remember are:

Audience & Timings

You need to make sure you're catering to your audience and target demographics, and make sure you're posting on a consistent time-scale e.g. Everyday, every other day, every week.

Consistency is important because it helps your online presence, and helps to build a reputation online. In future, this can help you attract your ideal customer base and helps you to create a solid plan to fit your chosen audience.

Delusion is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the process ✨💐🥂🌄

When I tell people this, they don’t want to listen to me but it is the most important step in every process in my life.

Being delusional to me means believing that you can and in turn you will. It’s knowing it’s already planned out the way you want it to be and knowing that your vision is true. I use this when I’m speaking to clients, for my relationships, when I’m creating new content, for motivation. Every step of my life revolves around me being delusional in the best way possible.

I think it’s good for us to have that delusion, and if you don’t practice this, just try it and see how it works for you. Regardless of what’s happened, everyday to me is a good day because I cannot believe otherwise.

Let’s talk moodboards 💫

My process begins by thinking about why I want to create a mood board. The main reasoning behind this is usually to compile different ideas and get the creativity flowing. 🌈

After that, I’ll decide what sources I will use. Sometimes I’ll search instagram or Pinterest, and sometimes I’ll even us a google image search to find good material for a mood board.

Once the mood board is created, I can use it for content creation or to put together a colour scheme for my client.

How to begin your business journey 👩‍💻

The three key tips I’ve taken on board:

1. Get uncomfortable
2. Learn the basics
3. Go out and do it

When starting my business, I had to realise all these things to get myself started. I was (and still am 🫣) a huge procrastinator, so learning these things really helped me realise I needed to get up and do something! I’m hoping these tips can help and motivate you too.

I was once in this position.

I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere or getting what I’d worked for. I wasn’t taking big leaps because “I didn’t know enough” or “I need to make this better first”. And I had a ‘let’s start tomorrow’ mindset.

I’ve scrapped all that now, nothing needs to be perfect to work well, you just need to get yourself out there and be confident with what you’re doing!

Manifesting has helped me get so many things I’ve wanted it life, and has helped with my self confidence and happiness.

I became a SMM with £0 🫣 You read that right, I became a social media manager without a penny in my business bank account. The beauty of working online means you don’t need fancy equipment or a million pound course to learn and perfect your craft. Don’t get me wrong, a good course with a strong mentor and top of the range equipment is definitely going to help but this is how I started and how a lot of people run their businesses today. EDUCATION 📚 I learnt everything I needed to know about social media management from 3 places: -Instagram -Udemy -YouTube After that, I threw myself in. I worked on my own businesses social media and then built a small client base to extend my expertise. TOOLS 👩‍💻 Again, I started with nothing other than an iPhone I already owned. Apps like: Canva, Planoly, Google docs etc. can all be used for free to help build up your brand. Keywords are great to use in: - Captions - Bio - Hidden in your content What are keywords? They are exactly what they say they are: ⭐️Words that are very closely related to the topic you’re talking about/ sharing content about. A quick social media search will help you find some great keywords for the topic you want to share on. ⭐️ Try typing one keyword and see underneath all the words that are related to the topic.
