I taught myself to mix back in the late 90’s early 2000’s
I was a huge fan of the rave music working into
house, trance and hard house, nowadays I love mixing from progressive house, house, tech house to trance and driving techno
All my mixes are made on the fly and what I’m feeling in the moment, they are about having fun and not about being perfect!
2020 saw me move into the digital side of mixing and now I like to blend old school vinyl with the new digital style

With 25 years experience as a dj and 15 years music production under his belt.
NORTH by NORTH brings a multi genre sound to the table , with deep house grooves , melodic techno ,progressive house and everything in-between.
NORTH started homing his skills back in the early 90's in Scarborough.
After moving back to his home town of Leeds in the late 90's, NORTH continued his passion for music and played in various clubs and parties within the city .
He even created his own club night called TAB at the infamous LEEDS WAREHOUSE.
Whilst still in Leeds, he then started producing and has had multiple tracks released and available on all popular download sites .
NORTH then moved over to Liverpool in 2007 and has recently got back into the dj side of music... playing in various clubs including BARISTA in Chelmsford and even playing over in Northern Ireland.
He likes to give his listeners the vary latest in underground music and never plays the same set twice .

Welcome Daniel j Bateman

With almost 30 years experience under his belt..Daniel J Bateman is well versed in many forms of dance music.
Starting off in his home town of Chelmsford in Essex playing a mix of late 80’s / early 90’s hip hop, RnB & ragga at venues such as Coopers bar & Bugattis....He swiftly moved to playing upfront underground house, taking influence from the likes of David Morales, Masters at Work, Todd Terry & many more....having residences at the Rendezvous & Dukes nightclub in Chelmsford he quickly became a regular & known face on the local music scene....& does still to this day.
As well as many local venues including Barhouse...Hooga...Loop...Indigo....The Bassment...Barista, to name a few....He has also played at more high profile venues & events such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha London, WERFSTVL, YNOT Fest, Truck Festival, The Cross.....as well as Chelmsford’s highly successful Fling festival.
Also moving into the realms of internet radio, starting off on the now globally renowned & award winning Rough Tempo....Studio 808....SMCRADIO.....& working regularly with the Intense Records family.
A fantastic addition to the team, he will be playing a heady mix of Beats n Breaks...serious bass line shizz

Welcome MANKO

Lee started to DJ in the early 90's. Lee played up and down the UK for various nights and clubs, including nights with North by north and Lee ross. Lee was a co founder and resident DJ for Nocturnal, which ran for a few years at the Enigma club in Hull. He then went on to play regularly in York for various clubs including the Mansion and Dusk. Also did guest appearances for various nights including Savaged and Electronica with still operate. He's played guest slots at Beaverworks in Leeds several times. Lee has always had a love and a passion for playing techno and trance

Lee Ross has been a DJ since 1988, working in the main clubs in Scarborough, up until 2000. During this time ,he was almost fired too many times, for playing too hard or playing too much dance music, in a commercial setting. This was finally resolved by given Lee his own room, on a Saturday night, with no music policy. Working through from the early house and techno sounds of the later 1980's and early 1990's, to the rave, breakbeat and hardcore scenes, to the club sounds, techno and early trance of the 1990's, his love for new electronic music, was always the driving force behind this night. The main ethos of this night was, once it had charted, he stopped playing it. Between promos and imports, this normally meant around 6 months of exclusive plays in the area, with tracks like Higher State. Around 2000, Lee left the club to concentrate on doing a Music Tech course at Hull Uni. During this time he ended up going back to the same room, in the same night club, on the same night but this time with a difference. The night know as Logic, was made to give up and coming DJs the space to perform, so times for the first time. These nights also included live musicians, from the same course, from Sax players to percussionists. In the mid 2000's, Lee started a new student night, with longtime friend and DJ Darrell Hooper. Again the night was almost fully dance music biased, with the emerging sounds of the Indie Dance and Blog House scene. Still pushing the new music but this time from artist like, Breakbot, Cut Copy, Justice, SMD, Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, Von Stroke, etc. After just over a year of entertaining over 800 students each Wednesday night, the night was pulled from them by the venues manager, after his friend and DJ, complained the night was just a Techno night. From then till now, Lee has built by a successful mobile wedding disco business with the twist of being a mixing DJ. From playing edits of classic back to the 70's, to Ibiza style weddings with live sax players to Rave weddings with legends like DJ Mark Archer, the future will be seen from the dance floor.
