The Rest Of Me came together so quickly it almost doesn’t feel like it’s real but here it is!

Fun tidbit, my guitars were locked away in a storage unit during the process of making it. So all the guitars you hear is my little squire Bronco bass 😉

Morally Grey was released on Wednesday!
But did you know that during process of creating Morally Grey, my flat had a little accident as the basement caught fire.

I had a real “what to save” moment so I instinctively grabbed my Mac as the music contained could be lost forever.
Luckily the fire never reached our flat thus our stuff survived!

I guess the moral of the story is hire me to make music as I’ll save it in a house fire…

I’ve never been a massive “in the box beat maker.” I always wanted to work more recording live musicians where I could. Buuuut I’ve had an exciting project recently that’s given me a chance to experiment more with beat making- more specially sampled drums. Here’s the soloed drums from a project I can’t talk about and technically doesn’t exist. 😉 Made by layering upon layering samples to produce, what could be called, a smashed drum kit. I’ve made use of my go to compressor by @klanghelmaudio with various other mixing using a couple of @slatedigital plugins. Got to be honest I’m super happy how industrial sounding it has ended up, plus I got an excuse to play with snares with an ungodly amount of delay! #beatmaking #producer #musicproducer #logicpro #slatedigital #drums
