Not a million miles away from all-time national records in Iran 🇮🇷 with +52.2°C in Abadan. This is 1.5°C from the all-time any month national record and marks the hottest recorded temperature on planet earth in 2022.

Iraq 🇮🇶 moves very close to June national record at 51.6°C (125°F). Just 0.4°C short.

Bonaire wordt in het hart geraakt door klimaatverandering. Daarom zijn we een campagne gestart om aandacht te vragen voor de gevolgen van klimaatverandering. Want dat is hard nodig!

Langs de zuidkust van het eiland -van Bachelors Beach tot Lac Bai- zijn zwemvesten op p***n bevestigd met de tekst ‘𝙎𝙚𝙖 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜’. Daarmee vragen we aandacht voor de gevaren van de opwarming van de aarde, zoals de zeespiegelstijging, voor het eiland en haar inwoners.

Laten we de Nederlandse overheid eraan herinneren dat het hun taak is om Bonaire en haar inwoners te beschermen. Deel deze post zodat zoveel mogelijk mensen dit bericht zien!

Bees sleep 4-6 hrs a day and sometimes sleep under a flowerhead or inside a deep flower like a squash blossom where the temperature can be up to 18 degrees warmer close to the nectar source & on occasions even hold each others feet.

If everyone stopped saying “it’s just one”. Every piece of plastic you’ve ever touched is still on earth.

🐠 The deaths of sea creatures is so great that it can only be estimated in tonnes. At the current rate, it is anticipated that our oceans will be void of fish by 2048.

💁🏻‍♀️ What can you do? Use reusesble waterbottles, don’t buy single use plastics, use canvas/cloth bags instead of plastic, buy from zero waste shops when possible, don’t eat fish!
