A blue bunny keyboard for the best blue Dutch bunny that ever lived. 🐰

In honor of the year of the rabbit and the passing of my own bunny, Merle, I dumped all my plans for a different keyboard this month and decided to build this one as soon as I saw the keycaps. I already got the AL71 for work and I loved it so much I had to get another one for home so I didn’t have to keep traveling with it.

I never post a lot about my RuneScape stuff because it’s not as interesting as League of Legends or Baldur’s Gate content. But fun fact: my character was named after my bunny Merle.

I lost Merle this last weekend the night before Christmas Eve and I didn’t think such a small life would have such a huge impact on me, but he did. He was 6 years old, and would have been 7 on New Year’s Day. He came in such a small package but had the biggest attitude of all my fur babies and always set everyone in order, including me. He was so sassy and so lazy at the same time. He always demanded to be let out of his hutch to roam the house, but when he did, he would plop his silly ass down on a comfy spot and refuse to move for hours. He loved bossing around the larger animals in the house because size didn’t matter to him - he had the biggest attitude after all.

He started developing large aggressive tumors in the last year and I paid to have them surgically removed but I guess his little body gave out and fate decided it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge.

I just wanted to make a post to remember him and hopefully share a little bit of his little life with the world. He did have a IG account but there aren’t too many pictures, as a fast and sassy bunbun is always hard to photograph. The account has been tagged on this post.

I had actually been thinking about changing my display name in RuneScape before he passed but now it just seems perfect. I apologize in advance for not posting as much as I normally do this week, as you can see, my mind is elsewhere.

Anyone still play RuneScape? I’ve recently gotten back into playing it. I remember running home in elementary school every day when it first came out to play this game and it still blows my mind that almost 20 years later it’s still going strong.

It was my first RPG I’d ever played and still love playing though it is a bit of a grind. 😬
