This could’ve been a relatively depressing holiday season for me, luckily I was able to spend it with my parents and ended up feeling good. Also took delivery of a 25’ Tesla Christmas Eve (one of the fast ones) and had a blast hearing my folks acceleration reaction 🚀. Grateful is how I’m going to close out this year, ambitious and ready for the future.
Merry Christmas, and don’t let yourself be down around the holidays, it way too common and we’re better than that.

Things have been quite. No videos, no pics, no social posts. I’ve had a life event stagger me a bit as it would anyone. This coming at a time where my interest in my work has been at an all time low. I’m taking some PTO earned working at Google video to not be on camera around the holidays, I’ve done that for years and honestly it’s the last thing I want to do right now. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, the videos will resume when the time is right.
Edit: also I wanted to add, I fully understand what a rare and blessed position I am in to be able to work on my own schedule, this is the only job I’ve ever had like that, my last occupation not only would you be fired for taking unannounced time off but you would also be brought up on charges.

IEMs in, I’m hours deep editing terabytes of recorded gameplay turning into the finest b roll for the stallions and stallionettes to observe so we don’t always have to stare at my ugly mug during reviews, news, etc.

I have no idea why I waited so long, I bought an Audeze Maxwell! Compared to the $300+ flagship gaming headsets and budget IEMs I’ve been testing this is like hearing music for the first time or being able to use audio ques alone to hunt enemies in online multiplayer. There are things I like more from the major player’s flagship models notably the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro but just sound quality alone the planar magnetic drivers are nuts (yes I know the pulse elite has that too) 🙂🎵

Big W for the GameSir Tarantula. One of my gripes in the initial review was lack of app support for the additional buttons, the Connect app for PC now allows keyboard bindings. I’ve also seen a lot of this vs. blank controller questions so I’ll make a quick pt. 3 vid soon.
