We are pleased to share the completion of the first Women TechEU pilot funding scheme. Launched under the European Innovation Ecosystems programme of Horizon Europe, the Women TechEU scheme provides grants of € 75,000 for innovation and growth to female-led start-ups.

In addition, the scheme provides support through the European Innovation Council’s Women Leadership Programme as well as networking support.

An international Call for Proposals resulted in the selection of 50 women-led companies in 15 countries. Of these, 40 companies are based in the EU Member States, with the remainder from the Horizon Europe widening countries.

Book Human! The latest advertisement by Internova Travel on AI and travel brought back memories of the 1984 Apple advert launching the Macintosh Computer. Internova's advert is all about the pitfalls of using AI to select your vacation. Although we aren't quite there yet, I see massive potential on both sides of the equation. Travel agents can definitely tailor a fantastic vacation -- especially if they actually understand the product and the customer. Welcome to Navigator Digital!

Navigator Digital is a new business practice established within Navigator Consulting Group.

Our mission is to support the process of digital transformation through a mix of consulting, training and digital services.

The next 10 years will see radical transformations to human society and economy as a result of technological change. The path towards digital transformation is now firmly entrenched, and changes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things and other technologies will change how we live and work irrevocably.

Until now, we have been working at the digital interface through four separate directions:

- Through consulting, especially in terms of establishing digital transformation strategies;

- By supporting start-ups or evaluating investments in start-ups;

- Through management training and development;

- Through digital services such as web development, advertising campaign management, database management, customer experience management, content marketing, social media and more.

We are now grouping these services into a new business practice named Navigator Digital. Doing so enables us to take a 360 degree view of the challenges and opportunities companies, citizens and governments face as we go through a process of change different from any that has come before.

Our Facebook and LinkedIn pages will be used to share digital economy experience, commentary, tools, training and other opportunities and changes that affect our lives in this area.

From Statista: Wireless mapping company Opensignal released an analysis of real-world 5G measurements across all frequency bands in mid-April which highlights network speeds in major cities around the world. South Korea has the fastest 5G download speeds of any country with an average of 361 Mbps, followed by Taiwan and the UAE with 309.9 Mbps and 269 Mbps, respectively. The analysis found that the 5G experience in leading cities was significantly better than the national average.
