Good morning waterbirders. I enjoyed some cool weather with the flock this morning. I usually just do reels but figure I’ll try a regular post. I might share it as a reel too.
Make sure you see Sparkle at the end. She’s the unpopular duck avoiding her bullies.

Here are some pictures of my favorite feathered friends.
I’m excited to start sharing all the amazing wildlife around our lake property and my fun flock. Lately, we have a ton of swans, wild ducks and Sandhills. So pretty!

See what life is like on 50 acres of spring-fed private waters, wetlands and wooded hills in Michigan.
My family has a fun flock of domestic ducks and geese that forage the property, some fabulous feline friends, a disabled Canada goose (AlexGander) who’s bonded to our Dewlap Toulouse goose (Marge), migrating swans, a variety of other wild waterbirds, deer, turtles, frogs, and a family of beaver that built an amazing lodge. If only they’d stop building dams.
We love taking pictures and videos of all the action so it’s great to have a place to store and share those moments.
