After years of extolling the virtues of amps and cabs for bass, I took the Sansamp plunge this month, and it's totally become my go-to bass sound for recording! A few little other tricks on this board (the POG is a real weapon if you use it subtly, and believe it or not, that Jackhammer works perfectly!), but it's going to be hard justifying recording bass any other way for a lot of stuff!

This AWESOME cast copper snare from Duallist Drums Pedals arrived today, along with double kick pedal.

We have City Of Thieves in next week to track a whole album, along with The London Drumstick Co. nd can't wait to unleash this absolute beauty. Gonna shoot it out against the classic Ludwig Supraphonic and see what's what!
