Hello friends! Here’s a film I shot on my recent trip to Snowy Mountains, Perisher. I went with old friends and met new ones as well. It’s my first time touching snow, a childhood dream of mine, so I wanted to document this huge life event.

I really had fun in those two days (with a few broken bones 😂), looking forward to visit again next year. Enjoy watching!

It's okay. It's okay to feel sad. Who wouldn't? You spent months of reviewing and sacrificed so much time. Studying in the middle of a pandemic was never easy. I know this because I experienced it myself last year. So it's okay, cry.

But keep your chin up.

Chin up. Because you still decided to hope for your future.

Chin up. Because you still decided to make your parents proud.

Chin up. Because you still decided to fight for your dream.

Others may not see it, but you know your efforts and sacrifices. And with that, you have my utmost respect.

Hello friends! Malapit na ang CE board exam and I guess you guys are anxious already. I want to re-share some short tips and hopefully makatulong sa inyo. Goodluck sa inyo, have faith! 😊🙏🏻

Hello, friends! I want to share three things before you take the CE Board Exam tomorrow.

1. Sleep early! Your brain needs rest after months of heavy review. A fresh mind is an active mind.

2. If you don't get the answer in the first try, don't worry! Try answering other problems first and go back to it later. Most of the time the following problems will help you remember how to solve the first one. Don't give up!

3. Enjoy the exam. This is one of the biggest moments of your life. But instead of being nervous, just take a deep breath and enjoy the experience.

Hi, it's been a while. Naging busy and felt lost sa life lately. Usually when I feel burnt out, I spend some quality me time by reading a good book and drinking hot coffee. It helps me take my mind off things and get back on track again.

Hello again friends!

I want to share a quote from a book I read.

"𝘈𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯."

After reading that line, I reflected a bit. Totoo nga. May times na instead na kailangan ko mag-aral, or magtrabaho, or anything na dapat kong gawin, I find myself getting distracted.

Facebook, YouTube, Netflix. Minsan games.

Some of us even choose distraction to escape life, and avoid thinking about the problems or responsibilities we should facing.

Pero sooner or later, we will have to face reality. But it would have been best kung ginawa na natin sa simula pa lang. We could have saved time and finish the task sooner.

These are excerpts from the book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear.

In basketball, the goal of both playing teams is to win the game by finishing with the best score. But you don't win the game by just staring at the scoreboard. You win by improving yourself in training and by playing the game. Practice helped you win.

It's the same for college. Every engineering student wants to graduate and pass the board exam. And if all students share the same goal, then why do others fail? This proves that the goal is not what differentiates the successful from the unsuccessful. The goal is always there. It's their system of effective study habits that help the winners achieve a favorable outcome.

Although I agree that there are some students that are gifted with intelligence. But college is not about being the smartest, it's about competing with yourself. The same can be said about life. So set good goals, but commit to your process.

UPLB DCE is the top-performing school in the May 2022 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination, with a 95% passing rate (76 out of 80 examinees). Engr. Jan Marvin Espejon also made it to the Top 10 of the passers.
