Same Year, Different Body:
My 20kg Transformation Journey 💪🏻

Believe it or not, these photos were taken in just the same year —2024!

I was a pretty sporty and athletic kid back then, pero hindi talaga pang athlete yung katawan ko. I was on the chubbier side. Nadagdagan pa lalo ever since nag pandemic, and nahirapan na ako ibalik yung dating katawan ko nung highschool and college na medyo lean.

One day I just realized na I had to do something about it. Ako nalang ang lalaki sa family and I had to step-up and change my lifestyle to be able to serve them better. It was a wake-up call for me.

I have a friend na nagpakilala sa akin sa Kaizen, and that’s where I met coach Cho Lim (The Lazy Lifter). And the rest of it, as they say, was history.

From 82 kg to now weighing 62 kg, I managed to lose that much weight in the same year and kept it off even sa nagdaang holidays. I feel so much lighter, healthier, and stronger. Also, the added confidence also spilled over to other areas of my life — work, mental health, connections.

As a guy advocating fitness, I’m excited to share this to you guys as well, especially if you’re planning to include fitness in your 2025 goals 🙂
