I would have first heard and seen Lady Wray on VH1 or MTV Base, with one of her early songs featuring Missy Elliot, it’s been a trip to play both new and deep-cuts with her on this tour and to incredible audiences! Here’s some footage from the European Tour ‘25 with happenings at 2 Meter Sessions and North Sea Jazz Festival (my first ever Jazz festival, our stage time was the same as Herbie Hancock’s so I didn’t get to see him perform) …Last slide, listen for that overtone, blows my mind every single time I hear that voice! Looking forward to playing some more shows this summer!
