🎧 Is quitting really a bad thing?
Whether you're a budding entrepreneur or already running a business, you'll want to tune into this 🎧
👉🏽 But first, some backstory:
I'm Naeem, business owner of @digitalinamarketing with my wife @alinaislam
She started the business in 2020, and when I first joined her in 2021, I had no clue what I was doing 🙈
As a 9-5 employee, I had...
✅ Worked 7 years in FX on a trading floor
✅Earned 6-figures in my first job at 23
✅Become the youngest VP at the age of 27
✅Made the leap from FX to the Tech industry
✅Managed clients worth millions in Toronto and Dubai
...but when it came to running a business, I was clueless!
On the outside, it looked like I was embarking on a new exciting adventure 💪🏼
But on the inside, I was struggling with
❌Imposter syndrome
❌Lack of direction
❌Confusion
❌Feeling lost
Would I be able to help Alina grow her business?
Was I cut out for entrepreneurship?
Had I made a mistake?
So I bought books, a lot of them! 📚
Watched YouTube videos 🎥
Googled endlessly 👨💻
But the most value I ever received was a 1-hour lunch meeting with a successful entrepreneur. 💼
In just 1 hour I had countless ‘aha’ moments, found clarity around bottlenecks, resolved problems that felt unresolvable, and I simply couldn’t stop scribbling down notes while he was talking. 🤓
After that lunch meeting it hit me: having mentors in your life is the #1 growth tool.📈
The trouble is, finding the right mentors isn’t easy, nor is it possible to get a lot of their time. Where would I find them? If they’re running successful companies with busy schedules, how can I expect them to turn up to coffee with me each week?
So I decided to do something a bit selfish…
I launched a podcast. 🎧
I started inviting successful entrepreneurs onto my podcast and asked them all my burning questions.
Questions about…
✅Money
✅Patience
✅Failure
✅Growth
✅Mental health
✅Building a team
✅And ever
