Our band saw TOP for the first time around the time this album came out. They were at the Hollywood Palace on Rt 40 outside of Baltimore. What a show...I have 35mm slides that I took somewhere

FIFTY YEARS 💥❤️ Released May 1973, our self-titled album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Top LPs chart and received a gold record award for sales in excess of 500,000.

The album was home to our most successful single, "So Very Hard to Go,” peaking at No. 17 during the week of July 28, 1973 on the Billboard Hot 100. Two other singles from the album also charted on the Billboard Hot 100: "This Time It's Real" and "What Is Hip?" It marked the debut of Lenny Williams, Lenny Picket, Chester Thompson and Bruce Conte. Talk about iconic!
