MEET THE ARTIST! The final artist to work on “Shaman” was its deeply talented writer, whose heart and hard work can be heard in each story beat.

Elizabeth Ung (they/she) is a Q***r mixed-race Chinese actor and theatre artist. She was born on Tongva lands, also known as Southern California; grew up on the Indigenous Piscataway Conoy and Susquehannock lands, colonially known as Baltimore and Washington D.C.; and now resides in O’ahu, Hawai’i. Their playwriting credits include Asian Pasifika Arts Collective: Spaghetti Lo Mein; Truepenny Projects: Now Entering: Shrine of the Internet Goddess; Keegan Theatre: THERE IS NO HOPE IN THE CITY OF CHAOS; and Adventure Theatre MTC: Precious Time. As a storyteller, their work revolves around themes of identity, ancestry, culture, and social issues. Previously providing the voice for Princess Onna in Meets Prince, Loves Frog on Feminist Fairytales, she is excited to be a writer for Season 2! Their writing debut in the audio drama world is SHAMAN, a tale of morality and compassion that transcends the borders of reality and the spiritual.

Some of their hobbies include living vicariously through their friend’s pets, playing nostalgically curated video games, and sleeping. Currently, Elizabeth is a MFA Candidate for Playwriting and Directing in the Theatre program at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. www.elizabethung.com

You can hear Act 1 and 2 of “Shaman” out now on Realm!

MEET THE ARTIST! Only one visionary could have directed “Shaman” in such a thoughtful and creative way!

Angela Yih pursued an education in Music Technology at NYU in 2014. Since then, they've produced audio dramas and podcasts for both indie and industry shows from Realm, Pod People, and more.

They have their own audio drama, Residents of Proserpina Park, where they direct, write, and produce a full-cast, immersive, urban fantasy story!

In their free time, they like to voice act and sing, as well as cosplay and bake.

We know you’ll adore Angela’s work as much as we do, so check out Act 1 and 2 of “Shaman” out now on Realm!

MEET THE ARTIST! This dear friend of the forest was brought on as Dramaturg of “Shaman” to give our artists background on the world of the production!

navi (he/they) is a non-binary Sri Lankan manymedia artist. A self taught creator, they've released five albums, and performed & toured as the lead vocalist for multiple bands. As a theater artist, they starred in & wrote the music for Pointless Theatre’s d0t:, and have devised on stage with The Arcanists (The Tarot Reading), We Happy Few (Frankenstein), Dog and Pony (Romeo and Juliet for the deafblind), and more!

They're an alumni company member with Pointless Theatre, where - in addition to Art Making™ as a lighting designer, composer, sound engineer, performer, puppeteer, production manager, graphic designer & marketing content creator, they wrote Forest Tréas - an absurdist reflection on the 2002 DC Sniper crisis.

Currently, they're running the R&D wing of Flying V as an Artistic Lead, exploring the vast reaches of performance, technology, and nerd culture!

You can hear navi’s work both acts of “Shaman” out now on Realm!
