Having HOME, our documentary about love, passion and pigeons amongst a list of extremely talented filmmakers in two categories:

Non Broadcast Factual and Best Newcomer for Daniel-John Williams at the Royal Television Society- North East and The Border was a real treat.

Whilst we didn’t walk away with the glassware prize, we are grateful to have been on the list amongst the big players.

Congratulations to all of the winners on Saturday night and to all those involved and those responsible for making the evening so glamorous!

You all looked wonderful. Sorry we couldn’t be there to celebrate with you all.

**HOME UPDATE**

Our feature length documentary; HOME, had its cast, crew and contributors screening in December 2023.

With just over 200 guests in attendance it was, from what we have heard… a successful evening.

Now we are putting a film festival and distribution strategy in place for 2024/2025.

We are already planning and preparing the route we want to take and speaking with our consultant Jonny Tull Tull Stories to map out the next phase for the film.

The team at Nova Mundi Studios are excited about the development of the Forging Forward Mentoring Scheme which aims to provide a platform to nurture and encourage emerging filmmakers to create and evolve their skillset with us, under the guidance of established working professionals in our region.

Fully funded projects with opportunities to learn and get real credits under belts, we are committed to delivering the best arena for experience and a focus on sustainability and growth.

With the support of industry partners, leaders within the North East and guests from up and down the country, we are passionate and confident that this will be a new springboard for all taking part and the results will benefit those who are dedicated to carving out genuine careers in tv and film.

Last night the Nova Mundi team spent the evening with Jim Beall and Pauline Beall The Civic Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees and other local ward councillors at a charity event at Jolsha norton Branch

Discussing future plans and hearing all about the amazing work being done in our area and how to build a stronger community together.

Jim is passionate about what he does and that shows in his work and the money raised, not just last night but throughout the year.
