Attention Please📢
Today, the PUSF delegation had a long meeting with the university administration in which all the issues of the students were put before the administration. After a long discussion with the administration, the administration has resolved most of the issues that needed to be resolved.
Which are as follows :-
1. All students whose exams are in the university will be allowed to stay in the hostel.
2-All departments will be instructed to collect only the tuition fee of the previous semester(During Covid-19) from the students and if any department has charged the full fee, they will adjust it for the next semester fee voucher.
And the current semester fee will be 50%.
3-M.Phil, Research Work and Ph.D students will be able to stay in their respective hostels as mentioned in University notification.
4- Regular MA / MSc students from remote areas will also be allowed to stay in hostels.
The Main issue of Opening of All University Departments & Hostels for all Programs is still on table because administration is willing to do so there are no barriers from their side.But HEC and Government is not allowing them to take that risk because as all of us know there is a mass movement of students from all over Pakistan when PU is opened and it must create a chaos if someone is infected.
But Administration assured the delegation that they are on board with HEC and Government on this issue because all the Businesses,Schools,most of Universities,Public Transport,Shopping Centers etc are opened.
This issue will be resolved in upcoming week Inshallah
