During the 1991 season of the PBA, at the time we covered all the games on Channel 4 and we produced that, when our game analyst "Dr. J" Andy Jao was used to mentioned the "FIFTEEN FOOT LINE" as every player will shoot free throws for the last time right after the 1991 First Conference but for the 1991 All-Filipino Conference began, he was replaced to used to mentioned the "FOUR POINT FIVE METER LINE" as every player wants to shoot free throws until the Third Conference of that season...

1990 was quite lean for the PBA in terms of crowd turnout at the UL Arena, more so, late in the season. But the PBA, a growing institution that it is, isn't disheartened by a lean season. In fact, the pro league has gone through harder times and still succeeded in moving the graphic curve of attendance and popularity upwards. This is again the objective of the PBA this year. Remembering Vintage Enterprises Inc.

VINTAGE ENTERPRISES, INC. began in 1978 with several sports and musical promotions undertaken by Carlos "Bobong" Velez. In 1982, when the PBA was having problems with its coverorback then, Velez and Vintage made a bid for and won the rights to cover the pro league's games.Since then, the PBA and Vintage Sports have been inseparable with the company's current four-year deal set to run until 1997, which would be its 16th year of broadcasting Asia's first professional cage league. Bobong Velez remains active with Vin- tage sports as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Enrique "Ricky" Velez is VEI's President and Chief Oper- ating Officer (COO) while Ronnie Nathanielsz is concurrently the Vice-Presi- dent for Sports and Business Manager. Vintage Sports has a talented and full- time work-force of over 20 executive, associate and field producers as well as production assistants and directors. Then there are the on-air talents numbering about a dozen or so who are extremely versatile and dedicated.

When "Dr. J" Andy Jao said with Chicago Bulls Toni Kukoc said "Toni Kukuk" 😄😄 and Utah Jazz Jeff Hornacek said "Jeff Hornacheck" 😄😄

Since then, when the NBA games on Free TV was departured from GMA-7 (1988–1996) and Citynet 27 (1995–1996) after 7 years at the time. Vintage Sports and IBC-13 acquired the rights for the NBA games starting from the 1996–97 season that run until 2000–01 season.
