Bit of personal news that affects ongoing business.

I will be temporarily unavailable for recording duties, and out of playing music, teaching, and live sound duties for the foreseeable future after an accident at the weekend past.

Unfortunately I've pretty badly damaged a finger, will save the gruesome details, but I have a 3-6 month recovery ahead of me meaning my upcoming summer bookings for live sound and gigging have been cancelled.

All current recording projects in the editing stage are unaffected, although may be slightly slower in being finished, and bookings for rehearsals can still go ahead as the studio live room will effectively be laying empty and unused otherwise.

Apologies for inconvenience caused but hopefully will come back stronger when the time is right.

New drum skins. Wear and tear takes its toll and gotta keep things fresh in studio.

Set of Evans G1 for bottom heads and the pinstripe EC2S set for batter heads.

Mixing day...perhaps week! Been a hectic few weeks recording, but getting a chance to sit down and mix for Expedition , Paddy Toye, Jasper's Oi project, a Derry grungy 90s rock project(?!), and Pox Men this week.

Expect another busy week ahead.

Lovely to take part in a very special Mouth Piece Open Mic Night in The Cottage Bar Letterkenny this month to remember a dear friend to many in the local music scene. Thanks to Steven again for asking me along.

As you all know , Over the West Online Radio has joined forced with Mouth Piece Open Mic Night to help support and promote the massive amount of talent we have in Donegal and surrounding areas.
On Nov 28th Maria McCormack headed to the Open Mic night and interviewed the artists and some audience members. Hedgehog Recording & Rehearsal Studio recorded the artists who performed and together with the interviews and live tracks we have put together a Mouthpiece Open Mic Night Radio Show.

It will be aired for the first time tomorrow night at 9pm on Over The West Online Radio.

Our first show includes Arn. , George Houston , Huckleberry , John Nelson Music , Maria McCormack Music , Blaithnaid O'Doherty, Ramper , Eoghan Rainey , Faith Erie , Thomas Duffy , Letterkenny Ukulele Orchestra , Timothy Boyle , Steven Crane , Ulster Room , Ulster Mead Co. , Tomorrla , Seamus Quinn and Kevin Shields.

Glad to be working on more new music with the finest in Donegal metal at the minute too! Been a busy and productive few weeks here in Drumkeen between recording and rehearsals.
