Someone Posted This About Tithing in Covenant Love Group
■ Here is what I had to share about it

I Love This. I Remember the First time I Ever read The Book of Malachi. It was from my First Bible, I was a US Soldier serving In South Korea, in The 70s at 17 & 18 Years of age. The last book of The Old Testament, they say; "God Saves The Best For Last". I could speak Volumes on this subject, but I would like to refer to The New Testament Book of Hebrews. But even before that, i.ll refer to this; Peoples (Christians) Reaction to even the mere Mention of the subject of Tithing Is normally, by Default is; "But We Are Not Under The Law, No more". Wow! That alone I could speak on and it would really Refute the Concept of "Evading The Whole Idea" with that Reaction. Ok, JESUS Mentioned "The Law & The Prophets". The Law Is The Torah,bor the First 5 Books of Moses, ie; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy. In that Order. And Especially The Book of Leviticus Intrinsically has to do with The LAW (The Levites, From The Tribe of Levi, were The Tribe Designated & Dedicated To The Priesthood, By God). & Leviticus & Deuteronomy Speak about Tithing. MALACHI Is a Prophet & Now at the last book of The Old Covenant (Not The Law) Hes Mentioning Tithing in a very Blessed way. In Hebrews, a New Testament Book, The Apostle Paul refers to The Incident thats Written In The Book of Genesis that Occured Well Before Moses' time & The Administering of "The Law". The incident has The Very First Account of Tithing,, done by Father Abraham, & Tithed Unto Melchizedek. Hebrews Chapter 6 & verse 20 says This; "Where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek" (unquote) And Hebrews Chapter 7:1-10 says this; "The King of Righteousness; 1For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, 2to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” 3without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. 4Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the [a]spoils. 5And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; 6but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. 8Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. 9Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, 10for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him (unquote). For Anyone to say: "We're Not Under The Law No more" (implying; Not Obliged to doing something) in response to Tithing Is a Big Error. Because In The First Place, The Old Covenant BLESSINGS, Found Thuout The Old Testament ARE The SUBSTANCE To The New Covenant & New Testament PROMISES of Many Blessings, In fact & indeed, That Are In The OLD(er) Covenant. So If Anyone says theyre "Not Under The LAW" No more... Remember that The LAW, The TORAH Include ALL the first 5 Books of The Old Covenant That Hold Many Promised Blessings thruout. Thus by saying so, they Inadvertantly Disqualify themselves from Partaking of such AND also make The New Covenant In Vain, for themselves too. In short, theres my Surmisings. GOD Who Gives Us, Life, Breath & Every Good thing, Only requires Us to Sanctify Our Whole Amount by Tithing In an act of Worship To The LORD (which Tithing in itself Is to done a certain way according to The Word in Leviticus& Deuteronomy), and the Giving of or releasing of that Tithe Is another Specific Directive, to Whom We are Directed to Give it too, but by Going to The Lord In Our Prayer Closet, to The High Priest In These Days (JESUS The High Priest of Our Confession; Hebrews 3) Putting it in a Basket, doing the Wave Offering, & "Tithing" thus Acknowledging GOD For His Preeminence & His Bounty to Us, And 1st Corinthians says that if The Part is Holy (Sanctified) The Whole Lump Is Holy. And God Who Gives Us (or it best be from The Lord, may I say) The 100% of it, makes Us also an Offer that We Cant Refuse: as "The GodFather", saying; "Here, You Give Him 10% & You get to Keep 90%.". Oh by the way; God Directs Us Divide that Tenth up to Give that too Four Different People, "Widows (husbandless), Fatherless, The Sojouners & Then The Priests (aka; Ministers) Do in other Words, The Ministers at Church are Only to Get 25% of that Tithe, at best. (Something that Youll Never hear from Any Pulpit, but You Do In The Word). Next; MALACHI 3 Says "Tirhes & OFFERINGS". Not just Tithes. So The Offering must Be Presented in same manner that The Tithe is to The Lord. The Only difference is, technically speaking The Tithe, in terms of amount Is 10% & The Offering is a "Free Will Offering". Which means It can be anywhere Between lets say; an extra 1% to whatever Percentage Ones Wishes. My Advise: Lets Not Tey To Work out This Salvation That GOD Authored; (as it ssys in Philippians 2:12) Un OUR Own Way. Because Thats The Mistake King Saul Did in The Old Testament & He Lost His Everything because of it.God Bless Yous In JESUS Name ✡⚕✝️

"Wake Up!" Because Of Your GOD Given,
United States Troops Led UN Forces & The USA Troop Presence there to this day, Intervening & Saving You, during The 1950s, & Helping to Protect You since then to this present time, which has caused You Great Revival & Great Harvest with THE LORD, in The 1950s thru to The 1970s, & Great Financial Prosperity & a Blessed Land to this present time (while directly across An Imaginary line they have Suffered The Heavens being Closed like iron & drought & Famine & Poverty & Tyranny) ....Yet Now You South Korea say, You have Need of Nothing, rather shamedly Turning Your former US Bases Literally into "Disneylands" as You Did To The Former Camp Page, Chun Chon South Korea, You rather Deluding Yourself & lulling Yourself to Believe that There is No More THREAT of Invasion, Re-Invasion from The NORTH! Yes The Threat Is Still Promised by The North as it Always has been for the Past since at least 1950 WHEN They Invaded The South to Begin With to Reunify The Nation as One, once again, but that time with The Norths Intention of Subduing The South, Under Communist Iron Fi**ed Rule. Next, Before Korea being Divided in 1945 after WWII, The Japanese Invaded Korea, & Ruled with an Iron Fist, In The Early 1900s, & it has been Divided ever since. South Korea Why have You been Listening to North Korean Weeds that have Infiltrated Your Land among Your Citizenry that whisper to You like a devil, attempting to Influence & tempt you & inflame You to Riots & Protests to become North Korean Sympathizers & puppets on a string while doing their bidding from the inside, as they attempt to Divide You both from within & from without? South Vietnam had Their VC, & North Vietnamese sympathizers in The South too & they Fell, to The Norths Rule! The North also dug its tunnels there In Korea from the North into The South, as In Vietnam did theres, we know this to be a fact. Read the handwriting that is on the wall.

I say to You, that YOU Chun Chon, (but GOD Forbid) yet, You Would be Re-Captured On The Very First Day of such an Event of a Re-Invasion, The same as When North Korean Troops Stormed & Swept Across The South in No time, the first time, as a Swarm of Locusts & Overtook The South Completely, Ravaging it as it went along, & Look at what It Took for The USA To BreakThru to Get to You & to Intervene & Deliver You..it took A DIVINE MIRACLE of Gods Grace, At INCHON, with North Korean Troops EVERYWHERE In South Korea, but By The GRACE Of GOD, General McArthur found a point, a C***k in The Armour to spearhead & Fight thru. I Promise You The NORTH shall Not make that same mistake Twice....

If America Withdraws From The Korean Peninsula, it stands The Chance of Imminent & Immediate Re-Invasion from The North & they With The Support of not Only China this time, (who pushed Us back from the Chinese border to The DMZ, while supporting The North In 1950s), But ALSO The North will have The Support of Russia, whom Russia & Chinese Forces are Allies & have been Practicing Wargames together.
SOUTH KOREA, If JESUS Who Saved You Once, Cant Save You Now after All of this, by You Accepting His Son JESUS as Lord & Savior, then The USA Will Not Be Able to Save You Again, & All Because You Refuse Us Both. The USA & The LORD GOD. South Korea JESUS Tells You as He has told Israel, "Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, I wouldve gathered You as a Hen does her Brood Under Her Wings, but You Would Not".

And What Is The Land "In The North" (after He says, GOD does Not see "Two Lands in Korea, but only One"? There Are Two Lands On The Northern Border of North Korea; Russia & CHINA. And What just Happened In China & Started there? We All Know, because That Shaking In China Has Effected The Whole Earth. We Are Living it, Folks. AND at The End where He Says ",Intercessors From The PREVIOUS GENERATIONS...(Ok, The 1) Grand Father, 2) The Father & 3) Grandson) 1) Kim IL Sung, 2) Kim Jong IL 3) Kim Jong Un). NORTH Korea Became Communist In 1945.
Kim IL Sung was, Born in 1912, The dictator from 1948 to 1994 & Was there When We (I was) were Serving In South Korea In The US Military there in The 70s. DID YOU KNOW? That Kim IL Sungs GRANDPARENTS Were Born-,Again Presbyterian Ministers & Missionaries? YES, He Was Raised HEARING & LEARNING & KNOWING; THE GOSPEL Of JESUS The Christ! And HE Obviously Hated GOD So much, That He, His Son & His Grandson Have ALL THREE Known That About Their Great Great Grandparents, Yes Those 3 being PRIVY To The GOSPEL, And Absolutely Knowingly DENYING The PEOPLE of North Korea To Hear The Gospel & If caught, Dire Consequences have been Cruely Inflicted upon them. Torture, Slave Imprisonment Camps, Starvation, Death. ONLY Those that Prove themselves to "Worship" The Three Dictators Are even Allowed to Live In Pyongyang The Capital of North Korea. All The Rest Of North Korea Is a 3rd World Country & Everyone there Knows it. BUT The Seeds Of Their PREVIOUS (& Righteous JESUS Believing) GENERATIONS ARE Finally Going To Come to Fruition In JESUS Name! [* p.s. Take sickness away.--Half the sicknesses from which men suffer are directly caused by sin, and would disappear if men led godly, righteous, and sober lives. Others, as plague and pestilence, are scourges sent by God to punish those who have offended Him. If Israel had walked in God's ways, He would have preserved them from sicknesses of all kinds by a miraculous interposition. (Comp. Deuteronomy 7:15.)

Pulpit Commentary

Verse 25. - He shall bless thy bread and thy water. If the Israelites were exact in their obedience, and destroyed the idols, and served God only, then he promised to bless "their bread and their water" - the food, i.e., whether meat or drink, on which they subsisted, and to give them vigorous health, free from sickness of any kind, which he pledged himself to take away from the midst of them there is, no doubt, that virtuous and godly living would greatly conduce to health, and take away half the sicknesses from which men suffer, even at the present day.
