We are hiring!

We are looking for barn help Monday to Friday for 2.5/3 hours every morning. Some flexibility on start time to accommodate schedules.

The horses will already be turned out for you.
Family run barn, no stress and no drama.
Duties include:
Mucking 14 soft stalls
Putting shavings in stalls
Water in stalls
Hay in stalls
Blowing the barn and cobwebs
It’s a very easy barn to do.

Start date November 1st ish and will last until Mid May when the horses are turned back out. Good pay. We will fully train a willing and reliable person. No pervious horse experience required but would be preferred.

Located in North Whitby on main roads that are plowed in the winter for safe east access.

This morning was every horse owners worst nightmare. We arrived at the show grounds early to find Jake laying down in his stall in great pain unable to get up. We were finally able to get him up.

He was walked and walked and given banamine and the vet was called immediately. Shortly after it was recommended he be shipped to Guelph.

Jake is only 12 and is the sweetest biggest cuddly teddy bear you have ever seen. Everyone loves him, it’s hard not to. He is very loved by many people and is a known cookie connoisseur.

I love this horse as if he was my own and I don’t want the decision for the owners to have to put him down to be financially driven.

We are raising money for his emergency surgery which is estimated to be +$14,000.
