It will feature both new talents and established artists. Although it is a standalone project, it is still part of XYPO’s established DeepMixNation, a label that is renowned for releasing & promoting deep house, indie dance and nu-disco artists and their music. XYPO stated that Still Finest will leverage on DeepMixNation’s industry experience and contacts. At the same time, it will branch out into
more experimental sounds within the confines of House and Deep House. XYPO believes that Still Finest will be able to find a niche along these lines; a niche that can appeal to the younger crowd, particularly Generation Z. Therefore, the artists that the label will work with will have to be equally visionary, willing to try out more fusion and new technologies with the producers. Although Still Finest will not interfere with the artists’ creativity, it will still help the artists explore new options and perhaps steer them into a direction that the artists would probably not have thought of in the first place. As with all new projects, XYPO said that Still Finest is still work-in-progress. However, he is adamant that the entire infrastructure is already laid out and that most of the musical direction is already in his head. What remains as work-in-progress is the chemistry that he hopes to achieve between artists and the producers. In other words, Still Finest already has the magic formula.
