DID YOU KN0W CALIFORNIA WAS NAMED IN H0N0R OF A BLACK WOMAN? That’s right!
The mythical Black Queen Califia.(Khalifa)!!!

According to her story, California was an island where only Black women lived. Gold was the only metal and pearls were as common as rocks.

These women were the most powerful beings on earth. When Cortez reached California, searching for this mythical queen, her influence over him was so overwhelming that he paid tribute to Queen Califia by naming the state after her.

""Califòrnia literally means, “the land where Black women live.""
History has been hidden way too long!

Queen Makeda of Sheba!

She is a fascinating historical figure from ancient times. Queen Makeda, also known as the Queen of Sheba, is said to have ruled over the ancient kingdom of Sheba, which is believed to be located in present-day Ethiopia or Yemen.

According to legend and religious texts, Queen Makeda embarked on a legendary journey to visit King Solomon of Israel. She was known for her wisdom, beauty, and wealth, and she sought to learn from King Solomon's renowned wisdom.

The story of Queen Makeda's visit to King Solomon is often associated with the tale of the meeting between the two wise rulers.

It is said that Queen Makeda was impressed by King Solomon's wisdom and wealth, and they engaged in philosophical discussions and traded gifts.

Some legends even suggest that Queen Makeda and King Solomon had a romantic relationship and that she returned to Sheba with King Solomon's child, Menelik I, who would later become the first emperor of Ethiopia.

The story of Queen Makeda has inspired many works of art, literature, and music throughout history. Her tale is often depicted as a symbol of wisdom, strength, and the power of diplomacy.

While the historical accuracy of Queen Makeda's story is debated, her legacy continues to captivate people's imaginations and serves as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Ethiopia and the region.

Preparation is the act of getting ready— and anything we consider meaningful or worthwhile will require it. Whatever you desire for your future, now is the time to prepare for it. When we don’t prepare properly, we can’t proceed purposefully, and we don’t complete successfully.

Very often, we get an idea to build or create something, and we overlook or discount the value of preparation — but preparation is such a powerful process.

While it may vary in type or degree, preparation is key in all aspects of our lives — whether it’s mental, physical, emotional and spiritual — and a hurried approach only lessens the quality of our experiences.

Life requires that we slow down and be present, but it also requires that we plan when there is an opportunity to do so. More often than not, an opportunity can be found.
