Mega proud mumma bear reaching out to help this wee munchkin who is my fab daughter Antonia Louise aka 'Tiny Terror'
She's off to Fiji to represent NZ in an international Masters weight lifting competition next month - rigorous training and steadfastly sticking to a diet is no mean feat when you have two little people to tend to. She has grit, determination and devotion to accomplishing her goal, but needs extra help to cover costs for flights, transport, accommodation and uniform costs .

The world is privileged to have such dedicated conservationists like Rodolfo Werner who has devoted decades to preserving marine ecosystems. Of late the focus has been on krill to highlight the cyclic rhythm of nature and the impact these microscopic crustaceans play in the health of our oceans.

Thrilled to make a scrummy new connection today with a woman known as 'The Penguin Lady,' aka Dyan deNapoli who has been involved in some extraordinary feats to rescue these wee creatures.
Check out the phenomenal TED talk she gave nearly 13 years ago after rescuing 40,000 African penguins affected from an oil spill. Later that year she went on to write a book called 'The Great Penguin Rescue' and just four years ago wrote a childrens book called 'All About Penguins: Discover Life on Land and in the Sea.'

There are many skills involved when hosting a podcast, not least of which is listening and seeing things from a different perspective.
The lesson - every experience in life offers an opportunity to learn - especially when you're with people or in places that don't align with your outlook on life

People often ask me why I accept invitations to speak at places like the UN CEO Summit or the Vatican Pontifical Academy of Science when I don't necessary align with their perspectives on the world. For those that believe I should decline such invitations to speak, I ask you to whom (and where) also should I not be willing to listen? 👂

In my recent "manifesto" I titled 'The 24 Precepts of Universal Mind', #15 states: "“The more I learn, the less I actually ‘know’.” Recognize that the brain is more a receiver and antenna than a hard drive storage device. Like any muscle, it thrives with both balance and use. Always, always, always, commit and recommit to being teachable.". While #17 goes on to state the following: "Realize that everyone you meet and every experience you encounter can be a divine (Source) communication to you… that this is how the Universe communicates to us… maintain an attitude of learning profundity from the simple aspects of life, this includes all encounters in your U-inverse."

While I have taken thousands of interviews during the course of becoming an effective host of my own podcast "Think Tank" presented new challenges to me as I had to switch seats to become a much more active listener (and I am working on this everyday, in fact it has been the greatest benefit of starting "Think Tank" so far).

It is when we are 'teachable' that the divine influence and communication appears freely in our lives. We have been given two ears and only one mouth, maybe we should endeavor to use them in the same mathematical proportion?

Just a thought for today ❤️ while waiting for my friend and colleague to start the day here together in Egypt.
