It's Official Selection Day! Massive congratulations to all our OS for Summer 2020 (Season 2!).

FilmFreeway has been updated, and the OS scripts now go to their next round of judges for feedback and the decision on who will be the Winner and Finalist/s for each category.

ANNOUNCEMENT: We are still on!

This is just a quick note to let you know that, as the Grim North Screenplay Festival is a 100% online, remote and no live-event competition, we are still going ahead in the Summer as planned. We have already begun to distribute your screenplays to our readers and judges, and intend at this stage to keep to the current timetable.

It's a strange time in the world, but we love reading your submissions.

For those of you finalists and winners from the Winter event who may not yet have received your script reports, we extend our deepest apologies. It was our first season and we are still chasing them up, which, given the current state of the world, has been significantly slowed down. We want you to know that we are working really hard to get those reports to you by next weekend, and we are super prepared with a new system for Season 2's winner and finalist reports.

You only have 25 days left until the Drop Dead Deadline. Here's what you can do in 25 days:

- Write a new script
- Polish an old script
- Write a script from a dusty outline shoved into your desk drawer
- Finally finish that script you started and then forgot about

- Turn a short script into a feature script
- Watch 1 episode a day of Season 15 of Grey's Anatomy.
