zebra. wie auch das Königshaus legen wert auf Style und Fashion. Wir wollen niemanden ausklammern und ausschließen, aber uns und dem Königshaus ist es wichtig das ihr gut gekleidet kommt. Wie das aussieht ist vollkommen euch überlassen, es gibt nur zwei Dinge zu beachten. Keine kurzen Hosen, keine Jogginghosen. Ansonsten bitten wir darum euch frei zu entfalten, seid so bunt wie ihr wollt und fühlt euch frei ❤️

Hits outta prison: Jail Time Records‘ Lala Badman premiers with Amapiano song „Ijo Kolokolo“.

The non-profit record label based out of New Bell Prison in Douala, Cameroon gives another young Nigerian artist a chance. Lala Badman was arrested for smoking and possesing w**d and gratefully used the fully equipped recording studio in prison to produce the song.

„Ijo Kolokolo“ was inspired by Lalas fellow inmates and comes with a video shot right there in La Base.

“I was arrested while I was smoking some w**d in my compound,” he shares, “that’s how I got sent to prison. While I was there one day I saw people dancing crazily. They really looked as if they were under the spell of drugs, that’s how I got the inspiration of this song. Kolokolo in Nigeria means someone that has lost it, so the song is about dancing like a madman, it’s a joyful dance.”

AFROBEATS AUF DEUTSCH❓❓❓

W***y Will -
ist der größte deutsche Afrobeats Künstler. 2019 ging es auf seinem Spoti-Account los mit Afrobeats. Seit dem ist er bei dem Sound geblieben & hat ihn perfektioniert. Nach der Pandemie, in den letzten zwei Jahren startete er dann richtig durch. Er war auf dem Zukunft Pink Remix vertreten, dann dieses Jahr der Hit GehGeh mit M.I.K. und der dazugehörigen Choreo und im August hat W***y erneut nachgelegt.
Auf „Daddy ohh“ nutzte er das Sample vom Hit Song Magic System - 1er Gaou.

Delle‘ -
Auch Frank Delle’ aus dem Seeed-Camp kommt mit „Bunter Asphalt“ im Amapianostyle zurück. Wir sind gespannt, wie es weitergeht.

Pronto -
Den schweizer Rapper mit ghanaischen Wurzeln hört man in den letzten Jahren durch Features mit Trettmann, W***y Will oder auch dem deutschen Remix von CKay’s Love Nwantiti mit Eunique auch hierzulande mehr im Club.

Jazn -
Der deutsche Rapper ging in den letzten Jahren musikalisch immer mehr in die Afro-Richtung. Das aktuelle Album von Jazn besteht musikalisch fast komplett aus Afrobeats. Seine letzten zwei Singles ebenfalls & auch hier geht es weiter mit Amapiano-Einflüssen.

Aisha Vibes -
Die Rapperin mit ghanaischen Wurzeln bewegt sich zwischen Hip Hop, Dancehall & Afrobeats auf deutsch. Damit ist sie in der hiesigen Rapszene gut aufgestellt.
Wir sind gespannt & haben Bock auf noch mehr Afrobeats.

Es gibt noch viel mehr Beispiele in denen deutsche RapperInnen vereinzelt Covers, Remixes oder eigene Songs auf Afrobeats bringen, u.A. reezy, Sugar MMFK, Kwam.E, Bonez MC, Eunique, Loredana.

Als Support für Peter Fox macht der Schwabe dieses Jahr richtig Welle. Seine aktuelle Single „Lagos Bay“ wurde in Leipzig produziert. Auch zukünftige Produktionen werden hier von Thorsten Schroth geklärt.

Kommt nach Jahren mit Seeed & als Solokünstler mit DER deutschsprachigen Amapiano-Singel zurück. Der Remix featuret Amapianopioniere FOCALISTIC & namenhafte deutsche Afro-Künstler. Und das dazugehörige LOVE SONGS Album ist abwechslungsreich & sehr stark produziert.

leider sind wir gezwungen unseren Boatride abzusagen.
Die Rederei hat uns am Freitag darüber informiert, dass ihnen ein Bootsführer ausgefallen sei und es ihnen nicht möglich ist uns am 29. Juli über den See zu fahren.
Wir haben das Wochenende damit verbracht Ausweichmöglichkeiten zu finden, aber um ein OpenAir auf die Beine zu stellen ist eine einzige Woche Vorlauf leider zu wenig. Wir verstehen wenn ihr enttäuscht seid, wir sind es auch. Wir arbeiten derzeit daran so schnell wie möglich einen Ausweichtermin zu finden. Bis dahin sehen wir uns aber am 05.08 im Königshaus.

unfortunately, we are forced to cancel our boat ride. The shipping company informed us on Friday that one of their boat captains is unavailable, and they won't be able to take us across the lake on July 29th. We spent the weekend looking for alternative options, but organizing an open-air event requires more than just a week's notice, which is unfortunate. We understand if you're disappointed; we feel the same way. We are currently working on finding an alternative date asap. In the meantime, we'll see you on August 5th at Königshaus.

For almost 30 years, Mastah K has been rocking the decks. Sonic Bang, Rotzlöffels Hifi, Upliftment International, and the Hotta Fire Reggae Station were some of his projects in and out of Leipzig that he successfully shaped and co-created. Today, he is happy to contribute his experience to Team zebra. and help shape the Afro-Caribbean community.

One of his mottos is 'Soca all across the Caribbean,' and the Massive can always expect a diverse musical island hopping experience from Trinidad & Tobago to Antigua & Barbuda when K takes the stage. For him, whether they are small or large Caribbean islands, all islands are great when it comes to music.

This is a big win for dancehall and afrobeats.

Overall, the event also sees Burna Boy, K-pop star Jackson Wang and Idris Elba and Metro Boomin, Doechi, GloRilla, Klai Uchis, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Blaze, Willow, Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Suicideboys and others. Coachella usually adds more artists to the rundown as the time winds down.
