Glorious is proud to announce Icons, our latest collaboration with one of Aotearoa’s most celebrated artists, Dick Frizzell
Frizzell has taken one of the most recognisable figures in New Zealand pop culture— Charlie, the Four Square Man—and reimagined him as 28 cultural icons. From music legends like Prince and Elton John to art-world titans like Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama, each transformation is a playful yet masterful celebration of pop art, history, and identity.
Each piece is a unique, hand-signed screen print, framed and editioned 1/1 ($950). Created using the same techniques as Warhol and Lichtenstein, Icons is a nod to the rebellious, democratic spirit of pop art—where commerce and creativity collide.
Available from March 5.

“Peace on Ice” one of the key pieces in Stuart Robertson’s “Colours of Antarctica” collection, captures a profound connection between history and the present. Shot in monochrome with a Leica camera, the image features a single white rose—a symbol of peace—placed within the historic Discovery Hut in Antarctica, a site known for its tales of extreme survival.
This photograph intertwines Stu’s global Peace in 10,000 Hands project with the icy, quiet landscape of Antarctica, creating a contemplative space where peace, history, and legacy converge.

“Frozen Symphony” offers a glimpse into the stark, otherworldly beauty of Antarctica’s Dry Valleys. Captured by Stuart Robertson, this image reveals a moment transformed by an unexpected storm—where freshly fallen snow contrasts against the ancient, dark rocks of the landscape. In this unplanned moment, an Antarctic research scientist stands at the centre, harmonising with the raw elements of the scene.
