Boyhowdy, have I got a podcast for you. I have devoured this podcast called Dead Eyes with Connor Ratliff. It's one of those magical pieces of entertainment that is much more than what it seems.

If you're just looking for something interesting, you can sit back and listen to this great yarn about a young actor who GETS FIRED BY TOM HANKS!!! Tom Hanks. America's dad.

Ouch!

Anyhoo, he spends the series trying to find out what "Dead Eyes" means (the reason Tom Hanks fired him). And along the way, he explores how we (all of us) react to rejection, lost opportunity, envy, jealousy, perceived slights, and, ultimately, self-acceptance and rebirth.

When Jason said he wanted to talk
about Dead Eyes, I couldn’t help but feel seen 👀. Was he talking about the depths of someone’s eyes? Can you tell if they are feeling “dead” inside? Or is it a look? Or a lewk 👁? I found some photos where we have eyes and I can’t tell which are the dead ones.

Maybe I should listen to the podcast and find out what the heck this is all about! 😃👀

Do you feel something? Ever been around someone who just doesn’t sit right with you? Maybe you’ve been in a good mood and then got around a grumpy-pants and found your own mood souring? Or have you ever been exhausted, depressed, overwhelmed, and rushed, and your friend texts you “I’m getting coffee, would you like something?” And suddenly you feel seen, cared for, and all around better?

That’s energy, man.

People way smarter than me have discovered that the average human produces 100 watts of power just sitting on the sofa.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy is neither created or destroyed.

I don't (at this moment) have an electrical plug in my butt connected to my sofa, so where does the energy come from and go to?

My suspicion is that it settles in my bag of Cheetos Flamin' Hot Crunchies.

Lindsay thinks it has something to do with other people.
