Gloria looks at the door leading to the kitchen but her plan gets squished because of the locked door, she then looks at Zodec and instantly swallows. He is trying to find the love he had for her 23 years ago but it's not there, it's replaced by hate and disgust. Bruno clears his throat trying his best to clear the tension between the two parties.

Zendaya:"What are you doing here?" she asks Kem with tears blurring her vision. She sniffs and blinks, her tears fall.

Kem:"Zendaya..."his tongue gets stuck, he doesn't know what to say to her. He swallows and looks at Gloria with his tears also falling. "Mother?" it comes at a whisper.

Gloria places her right hand on her chest and let's out a loud painful sob, she looks at Kem and shakes her head in disbelief. Her son is in front of her, in flash, she can't believe it and hopes it's not a dream. Kem takes a few steps before running to his mother's embrace, they hold on to each other as they both sob painfully. Bruno looks away and sniffs, wiping his tears as memories of his mother comes back, all the guilt and regret floods back.

Zendaya is frozen, she can't move and she is trying to register what's happening around her. Why is Kem calling her mother "mother" and why are they hugging? She looks up and her eyes meet Zodec's gaze, before she registers anything she feels his strong arms around her and she just weeps holding on tightly to her father.

They are all now sitting around the table in silence, trying to connect the puzzles and dots together. Gloria already explained everything to Zendaya and Kem, zendaya is trying to swallow the fact that this jerk who harrased her is her brother, they share the same blood from both maternal and paternal side.

Zodec is staring deadly at Gloria, its like all the feelings he had for her came back from the dead and they looking for its owner, he is trying so hard to hate her but it's impossible right now, he just wants to f**k the living day lights out off her for running away.

Gloria is shamefully looking down at her lap, she is actually in fear of what Zodec might do to her or her children but she is grateful, grateful that he brought his son back to her. She clears her throat and reaches out for the glass of water then gulps all of it down in a second. She lifts her eyes and they meet Zodec's, know she is at ease when she sees how soft they are right now. Her eyes then move to zendaya who has her face buried on bruno's shoulder then they move to Kem who looks calmer than anyone in this room.

Gloria:"Thank you" she says with a hoarse voice, snapping her eyes back at Zodec. "Thank you finding my son for me" she says after huffing a loud sigh.

Zodec:"I didn't do this for you but for my children. I don't blame you for his disappearance but I fully blame you for hiding my daughter for f**ken 16 years! If it wasn't for your selfish reasons she wouldn't have gone through all this trauma!" he grunts angrily and coldy then sighs pinching his nose bridge with his eyes closed.

Gloria:" I was scared that she might get lost like her brother or maybe you might take her away from" she swallows and blinks away her tears. "Debra threatened me to leave, she told me if I stay behind she was going to kill my baby so I had to leave and save her, I'm not going to apologise for that. I'm only going to apologize for not telling you what Debra did and for lying to my daughter" she says.

Zendaya:"Who took kem? Who is this Debra person?" she asks finally after crying her eyes out.

Gloria:"My sister destroyed my life! Debra is my half sister, she is Zodec's wife. She is behind every misfortune happening in my life and your life, she hates my children because of Zodec"

Zendaya:"This is too much to handle! I need some space" she pushes her chair back and walks out.

Zodec:"I'm taking my daughter back home with me! You had your chance and now it's my chance" he says blantly.

Gloria:"You take my daughter from me Zodec, I refuse!" she yells and bangs her hands on the table.

Kem:"Stop! Stop it! We all emotional right now and you fighting over us? Is that cool, is it fair? I won't sit back and watch you talk about my sister as if she is some property! You can't decide on her, on who she wants to be with, it's her choice so she will choose who is staying with!" he clicks his tongue and leaves.

OUTSIDE...

Zendaya is sitting at the benches next to the garden looking at the rose bed with tears streaming down her face. All this is overwhelming to her, she doesn't know what to do with herself. What hurts her the most is that the man that raised her, the man she adored and loved is not her biological father, he was just playing the part of fatherhood in her life. She is grateful for him, that she also can say that she once had a fatherly love.

"May I join you?" Kem asks behind her, she turns her head and frowns. "Please" he begs. She sighs and nods, he walks to her and settles next to her but not too close to scare her.

Kem:"How do you feel about all this?" Zendaya sniffs and shrugs her shoulders.

Zendaya:"Hurt, betrayed"

Kem:"I'm just glad I found my mother. As for the rest of the things I don't know"

Zendaya:"That woman? Is she the one that stole you?" Kem sighs and nods.

Kem:"23 years of my life has been a lie, when the truth came out I was devasted but I moved on" Zendaya chuckles.

Zendaya:"Easier said then done. I just need few more days to think about this, other than that my mind is blank. So you my brother, this pervert is my brother" they both laugh.

Kem:"Im sorry for what I did to you, if I knew you were my sister I wouldn't have hit on you" he says shamefully looking down.

Zendaya:"If it can make you feel better, when I saw you the first time I had a crush on you. I'm sure I was selling myself off" they both laugh.

Kem:"You did, I saw how you were avoiding eye contact with me and that said it all to me"

Zendaya:"Let's take things at a slow pace and not rush into it" kem sighs and nods.

Kem:"Fair enough" then it goes silent, just them in their own thoughts.

INSIDE THE HOUSE...

Bruno walks upstairs, leaving Zodec and Gloria alone for some privacy. He just hopes nothing bad happens because you can never trust the likes of Zodec, he is too evil.

Zodec:"You don't listen do you? I told you to not try any funny things!" he whisper shouts.

Gloria:"I was looking for my daughter! I raised her and I will be damned to let you take her away from me!" she shouts. Zodec chuckles bitterly standing up.

Zodec:"I will take her away from you! I warned you to stay away from her and you didn't listen, do you know what I do to disobedient people?" he is standing next to her with his index finger rubbing her wrinkled cheeks. She is closing her eye and silently praying for her children to walk in.

Gloria:" Just leave us alone" she says in a low whisper.

Zodec:"I'm going to kill both you and your evil sister and have my children in peace! I don't care whether I love you or not, I'll kill you!" he says coldly.

Gloria:"Zendaya and Kem will never forgive you! Never!" she shouts with her eyes tightly shut.

Zodec:"One thing about me, when I kill a death becomes a mystery just like yours will be. They will never know it was me, not even think it was me" he says followed by a cold, evil laugh.

Gloria:"You can't buy love and you'll never will! Zendaya is a clever girl, she will be your downfall I swear!"

Zodec:"Ohh how I wish to see that, it would be quite interesting but it's a shame cause you fooling yourself dear Gloria. Sleep with one eye open cause your day is coming, I never make empty threats. If you know what's good for you, you will leave and never look back"

Gloria:"Go to hell you son of a bitch!" she curses and spits on his shiny shoe. Zodec looses his cool and grabs her by her hair then covers her mouth to prevent her from screaming.

Zodec:"Don't test me woman! I'm going to kill you with my bare hands then bury you far
from the face of this earth! You and your sister will have a wonderful reunion in Hell where you belong!" he applies more pressure on his hand, Gloria keeps on fighting him by scratching his hand but he is not moved and keeps on adding more power and force.

He finally let's go when he sees her veins popping out, Gloria holds her chest and coughs hysterically looking at Zodec with teary eyes. This is not the man who she fell in love with, he is not the old Zodec. This man is full of hate, anger and evilness!

Zodec:"Tick tock, tick tock" he laughs evilly walking away from her.

AT BRUNO'S HOUSE

The next morning Zendaya wakes up to an empty bed, her mother is not in the room and her night dress is neatly folded and placed on the couch. She quickly stands up and slides into her slippers then heads downstairs, she is welcomed by a mouthwatering aroma and laugher coming from the kitchen.

She walks in and finds her mother, Zoe and Bella preparing breakfast but Zoe is just sitting on top the counter eating a chocolate muffin. She smiles at the wonderful sight in front of her eyes, her mother looks happy. She is still hurt and feels betrayed but hopefully today everything will be sorted before the sunsets.

Zendaya:"Zoe? Why are you sitting on the counter?" she asks walking in, they all greet her and she does the same and takes an apple from the fruit bowl.

Zoe:"Dad is not around so he won't see me" she says proudly with her legs swinging back and fourth in the air.

"I'm around and you in trouble young lady" Bruno says walking in the kitchen with a frown. Zoe startles and jumps off the counter running past her father to the lounge.

Zendaya:"You not dressed" she says frowning at Bruno. Bruno is in his boxers and a vest barefoot.

Bruno:"As long as I covered my privates I am dressed" he defends himself. Gloria and Bella laugh carrying breakfast to the lounge.

Bruno pulls zendaya to him and attacks him with a kiss, he pulls her waist closer, so close that Zendaya feels his morning er****on.

Bruno:"You didn't come to bed last night" he says biting her ear. Zendaya laughs and pushes him away after perking his lips.

Zendaya:"My mom is around so behave" she whispers.

Bruno:"So what should I do with this?" he asks grabbing his manhood over his boxers. The er****on is very visible and screaming to be let free. Zendaya looks at it and bites her lower lip.

"You two come and eat!" Gloria shouts from the lounge, disturbing the couple.

They both laugh and walk to the lounge, they comfortably sit at the dining table next to each other. Zendaya dishes Bruno his food before she dishes up some muesli and yogurt for herself.

Gloria:" Zendaya that's not food" she scolds.

Bruno:"She isn't supposed to eat anything that has oil" he explains and Gloria nods dismissing the topic.

AT THE HOTEL...

Kem and Zodec are having their breaskfast at the balcony, enjoying the crisp fresh morning of the city. The view is fine, not amazing but it's fine. Kem takes a bite of his sausage while intensely looking at Zodec.

Zodec:"You should learn to talk and not stare, it's creepy" he says after feeling Kem's stares still looking at the view.

Kem:"Since we found Zendaya what are we going to do with, Uhm... Debra?" he hesitantly ask. Zodec sips his juice and releases a very cold chuckle followed by a smirk.

Zodec'"Teach her a lesson she won't forget then kill her. She betrayed me and I don't deal well with that" he says without a pinch of uncertainty. Kem nods, to him this will be clearing the path for his future.

Kem:"I see. How was my mother?" he randomly asks. Zodec smiles and shakes his head as memories of Gloria flood back.

Zodec:"Beautiful, kind, sweet and respectful. She was the most beautiful girl in my village, her innocence got to me. I loved her with all my being, I gave her my life, love and soul. When you went missing she went crazy, crazy to the point of su***de but they took her away for a few months to heal. I wanted to wait for her but I couldn't, Debra her sister was all over me like a rash so I took her and made her mine. Gloria, your mother came back and ended things with me after learning about my relationship with her sister. That whole week I cried every chance I got, my love for her was strong like a magnet. 7 years later our blood got hot and your sister was conceived that night, she told me about the pregnancy when she was 2 months then the next days we woke up to her missing. I lost her again and was never going to see her, years later I began my search for you, her and zendaya"

Kem:"Do you still love her? I mean given a chance will you take her back?" Zodec chuckles and sighs.

Zodec:"All the love I had for her turned into hatred after she left with my daughter. I laoth her for that, the betrayal is still burning my heart after 16 years." he says so coldly and darkly, that scares Kem.

Kem:"I would like to meet her and talk to her, I've only seen her in a picture so it's my dream to see her real life with my own naked eyes"

Zodec:"Dreams never come true, like yours won't. You won't see that woman in your life, she will take you away from me" he says ever so clamly standing up walking back to the suite. Kem shakes his head sipping his juice, he is going to see his mother through thick and thin.

AT BRUNO'S HOUSE...

Zendaya steps out the shower with a towel wrapped around her beautiful petit body. She looks at her self through the mirror then drops the towel on the floor leaving herself naked and exposed. She looks at the scares on her stomach and thighs also on her upper body, they all carry painful stories. She touches her stomach and smiles weekly thinking that if she didn't miscarry she would be around 4-5 months pregnant. She wondered how the baby would have looked-like Bruno or her.

Tears roll down her cheeks as she closes her eyes, no matter how she tried forgetting all the torture she endured it would still come back. She still has nightmares of everything that happened, her pleas still haunt her till this day. It all feels like it happened yesterday, yes she is healing but she will never forget and she won't. All she has to do is move on and be happy, maybe she will forget all that has happened to her when she helps other slaves who also experienced or experience torture everyday. Maybe Zodec being her father could work to her advantage, just maybe.

The door of the main bedroom opens and Gloria walks in, she gasps when she sees all the scares at the back of Zendaya. She rushes to her and covers her mouth when she sees more scares all over her body.

Zendaya:"He r***d me, broke my virginity. It was so painful I felt like my va**na is being ripped apart. I was his slave, working at a farm but luckily he never violated me after the first time. They sold me and my friends to a brothel, we had to be s*x slaves. Bruno booked me as his private so I didn't sleep with other men, only him. My best friend Angela betrayed me buy framing me for stealing Queen V's wine. They killed my other best friend, Akela and tortured me. I was r***d by a guard, Queen V shot me on both my legs. They threw me in a very cold room, ice cold and left me for the night. I froze and passed out, I got woken up by water splashed on my body, they dragged me to a room and strapped me to a chair. She asked me why I took her wine and I didn't know what she talked about, I refused to admit to something I didn't do so they electrocuted me. They tortured me with whips that had spikes, poured me with cold water, electrocuted me and gang r***d me. I thought I was going to die but Bruno came to my rescue. I lost my speech, I was temporarily paralyzed, had a miscarriage and got diagnosed with cervix cancer that is being controlled currently. Bruni helped me heal and I am healed because of him. I will never forget about what happened to me, I prayed to God but he didn't help me or answer my prayers. I had lost hope in living but Bruno gave me a reason to live. I'm not the same mama and I'll never be, I killed her. I killed Angela in cold blood and I don't regret it nor feel guilty. I'm no more your sweet zendaya, I'm tainted and empty"

She summarises her story in tears in Gloria's arms. Gloria is also in tears, her daughter went through the most at such a young age. She failed as a parent to save her daughter, she should have fought tooth and nail to save her from being taken. She is really grateful to Bruno, if it wasn't for him her daughter would be dead. She can't seem fathom that her daughter killed a human, she fails to accept that zendaya played God in someone else's life but she won't scold her for that, instead she will support and comfort her.

It's finally that time, the time for the meeting. Zendaya cooked up a storm and lied to Gloria saying it is just a small celebration lunch that she found her. She places the last bowl of salad on the table and sighs folding her arms looking at the wonderful set up. She is happy and anxious, a ruthless man is her father for crying out loud! She shoves Zodec's evil ways at the back of her mind and looks at the bright side, knowing where she really comes from. She knows all hell will break loose when her mother sees the setup but she needs answers immediately.

Bruno hugs her from behind and kisses her neck. He can feel her shaking because of the nerves and her body is so stiff.

Bruno:"All will be well. Milla is so happy that her mother is her so she will visit tomorrow, Zane took the girls to her" he whispers.

Zendaya turns around and hugs him, she hugs him so tight as if she fears letting him go thinking he might leave her.

Zendaya:"Thank you for everything you did for me. I love you Bruno, so much that I don't want to loose you. I have every right to give up this life thing but because of you I look up to it, I look up to everyday cause I know you will be by my side"

Bruno:"I love you too bubushka. I'm glad I'm your hero and your knight in shining armor. After all this I'm going to marry you and make you mine, that's how much I love you"

They share a passionate kiss, exposing their love for each other after their heartwarming speeches.
Gloria, Bruno and Zendaya are seated around the table while having a small conversation, stalling the eating part. Zendaya is so nervous about this whole meeting and with each second passing she gets more nervous. Bruno has been holding her hand under the table and regularly brushes it with his thumb. The door bell goes off and Zendaya jumps up from the chair looking at the door. Gloria frowns wondering who could it be cause they were not expecting any visitors-so she thought. Bruno pushes his chair back and walks to the door. Zendaya looks at her mother then at her door, her heart drops to the pits of her stomach when she sees Zodec and Kem walk in next to each other followed by Bruno behind them.

Gloria:"What the hell is happening here Zendaya shaka!" she asks furiously. Her gaze meets Zodec's and the hatred is evident in his eyes, she feels like running away to her room but her feet her stuck to the ground.

Zendaya's eyes are fixed on Kem who looks relaxed, her mind is trying to come up with a theory to why he is here. Could it be that since Muller died he know works for Zodec? Kem's eyes move to Gloria and they instantly become watery when he sees the woman he always saw on the picture. She still looks the same but with a few wrinkles and strands of Grey hair.

The whole room is silent and tense, the tension between Zodec and Gloria can be cut with a axe, not knife. They both holding a staring contest. Bruno uses this opportunity to lock the door and the door dividing the kitch and lounge then hooks a chain at the stair case. Him and zendaya planned this cause they feared Gloria running away.

Zendaya and her mother walk in the house, her mother looks around gobsmacked by the beautiful interior design of the house. If it were upto Zendaya they would have went somewhere but they have no money for accommodation so this was the only solution.

Gloria:"Ndaya? Whose house is this?" she asks following Zendaya to the kitchen.

Zendaya pours them some juice and hands it to her mother before going to the lounge and settles on the couch followed by her mother.

Zendaya:"My... B-boyfriend. Mama how did you get here?" she quickly asks avoiding the boyfriend question. Gloria shakes her head sipping her juice.

Gloria:"I did some digging up but I found Milla and not you" she says with her eyes filling up with tears. Zendaya hugs her mother for a long time.

Zendaya:"Its so good seeing you, I missed you so much mama. I have been through a lot this few months, I've been broken beyond repair. I went through things a girl my age should not go through, I feel so empty and tainted." she says already in tears.

They both hold onto each other crying. Gloria can feel all of her daughters emotions and can sense that she went through a lot, yes she looks beautiful but her eyes are empty. Her eyes tell a different story, a story that carries so much pain.

Gloria:"Zendaya we need to go fetch your sister and leave, this place is not safe for you" she says breaking the hug. She wants to take her daughters and run away with them before Zodec finds out about her taking Zendaya away.

Zendaya:"Mama? Who is my father?" she drops the bomb. Gloria widens her eyes and coughs.

Gloria:"Sieve is your father Ndaya, why are you asking?" she asks fearing for the worst. Could it be that Zodec found her?

Zendaya:"Don't lie Mama! Please tell me the truth, I need to know who my biological father is" she yells unintentionally.

Gloria:"I don't know what you talking about Ndaya! Get your things we leaving" she says already on her feet walking to the door.

Zendaya:"He was here! He claims to be my father and claims to have proof of his assumptions!" she says.

Gloria freezes on her tracks and takes deep breaths, her past has caught up with her. This is what she was avoiding, Zodec finding her daughter.

Gloria:"That man is dangerous Zendaya! We have to leave before he finds me here, he is going to kill me!" she yells with tears on the corner of her eyes, one blink will send them flooding.

Zendaya:"So he is my father?! Mama you lied to me for sixteen years!" she whisper yells sinking on the couch. Her heart is shattered beyond repair.

What is wrong with her life? Why does bad things follow her around, is she perhaps cursed?

Gloria:"I'll explain everything to you baby but we have to go!" she says grabbing the bags.

The door opens and Bruno walks in with Zoe and Bella, zendaya jumps up and runs to him. She attacks him with a hug and cries hysterically, Bruno brushes her back with his eyes fixed on the bags and Gloria.

Bruno:"Girls go to your rooms" he says and they run upstairs after greeting Gloria. "Hi mame" he greets Gloria, she nods with a smile.

Zendaya:"This is my M-mother, mama this is Bruno my boyfriend" she introduces them.

Bruno:"It's such an honor meeting you" he says hugging her.

Gloria:"Thank you for taking care of my daughter but I came to fetch her, we going back home" she says rolling the bags out.

Bruno frowns looking at Zendaya who is crying with her hands covering her face. He is confused about what's going on, his eyes travel to the bags then back to zendaya.

Bruno:"My study now!" he commands walking away. Zendaya quickly follows him. "Explain" he whispers getting inside the room.

Zendaya:"I was planning on running away till I met my mother on the street, she claims to fetch me and go back home with her" she says honestly.

Bruno:"So you were running away because of our fight earlier on? Or because of what I do?" he asks trying to understand what was happening.

Zendaya:"Yes and I'm sorry! I'm not leaving anymore, my mother betrayed me" she burst into tears all over again. Bruno sighs and hugs her tightly.

Bruno:"Zendaya we are a couple, we need to fix things and not run away from them. What you did was dangerous, they would have taken you" he says then kisses her head.

Zendaya:"I want to meet Zodec and talk to him, my mother confessed" she says breaking the hug.

Bruno:"I'll call him and set a meeting for tomorrow afternoon. What about your mother?"

Zendaya:"I want her there so I'll stall her, don't mention a word cause I think she'll run away" Bruno nods and they walk out.

AT THE HOTEL...

Kem parks his car in the parking lot and heads to Zodec's hotel suite carrying his suitcase. A few minutes later he walks in and finds Zodec watching TV while smoking his cigar and drinking whiskey.

Kem:"Yo dad" he says walking past him heading to the other room. He leaves his bag on the bed and joins his father.

Zodec:"Thanks for coming, I found your sister but she is really stubborn" he says shaking his head smoking his cigar. Kem pours himself whiskey and relaxes on the couch with his feet on the glass table.

Kem:"She is stubborn but we will get through to her, how did you manage to find her" he asks curiously.

Zodec:"Remember the buyer of 100 slaves?" Kem nods sipping the whiskey. "He is her boyfriend"

Kem:"Guess it was a blessing in disguise. How about I go to her and talk to her? Maybe she will understand"

Zodec:"That's a good idea but it can backfire, remember what you did to her?" Kem shamefully looks down.

Kem:"Well it was my job. Ohk, let's give her time" he suggest. Zodec shakes his head thinking about Gloria, giving Zendaya space will increase the chances of Gloria finding her.

Zodec:"We don't have time, I went her to go back home with me so I'll do everything in my power to get her..." his ringing cellphone disturbs him. Kem stands up and fetches it from the charger and hands it to him sitting down.

Zodec:"Haa Bruno"
Bruno:"Mr Zodec, I'm calling in regards of Zendaya"
Zodec:"Talk to me"
Bruno:"She wants a meeting with you tomorrow afternoon around 3pm"
Zodec:"I'll be there then we can also seal our deal"
Bruno:"Good, have a lovely evening"

He ends the call and smiles eye to eye, Kem raises his eyebrow questioning his father's look.

Zodec:"Your sister requested a meeting with me, we need to go prepared with enough evidence that she is mine" he says, happiness evident in his voice.

Kem:"That's good news, let's hope for the best" they both smile and make a toast.

HUUL CITY...

Debra washes off her face mask and applies a facial gel before heading to Nicole's room, she is going to do this either way. She let's herself in and finds Nicole opening her bed covers, preparing for sleeping.

Nicole:"Mom?" she asks confused. Usually Debra is asleep this time and they sometimes don't speak late at night, it's a norm in this house.

Debra:"Sorry for coming unannounced, we need to talk about something important" she says sitting on the bed next to Nicole's legs. Nicole places a huge pillow behind her to balance herself.

Nicole:"What could be important so late at night? Couldn't it wait till morning?" she asks with a bored and annoyed tone. Debra frowns at her before clicking her tongue.

Debra:"Kem, we need to get rid of him" she says honestly without beating around the bush. Nicole frowns in confusion.

Nicole:"What is that supposed to mean?"

Debra:"He is a threat in this family, your father might give him all the businesses and leave you and your sister out in the cold"

Nicole:"Including you right? Either way dad would never do that, we his children" she points out.

Debra:"Don't be stupid Nicole! You are girls and Kem is a man, he is the heir"

Nicole:"I don't wanna be part of whatever your plan is" she dismisses her immediately.

Debra:"You are the main pawn in our plan. You need to seduce him, we will film everything then show it to your dad and claim its s*xual

harassment" Nicole widens her eyes in shock. She isnt going to accuse Kem of such evil, no ways!

Nicole:"Never! I won't do that! Dad will kill him, and me if he finds out I framed him" she yells.

Debra:"He won't know our plan! All he will know is what we make him believe, him killing Kem will give us peace knowing our inheritance is safe" Nicole scoffs clapping once.

Nicole:"Our inheritance? It's all dads hard work, not yours or mine! He will decide on who he hands it over to! I'm not going to do such evil, my answer is no!" Debra sighs and takes out a packet of white powder-cocain. Nicole shifts uncomfortably looking scared and shocked

Debra:" I know that you betraying your father by selling this drugs to slaves and not only that, you use it"

Nicole:"Mom I-I can explain" she stutters.

Debra:"No need to. If you don't want your father finding out you will do as I say. Seduce that boy and shout harassment it's that simple. We will discuss the plan tomorrow morning, good night sweetheart" she kisses her cheek then walks out.

AT MYCHONY CITY...

Zendaya pulls her robe together and ties the ropes together heading to the guest bedroom where her mother will sleep, she managed to convince her to stay till tomorrow. She softly knocks twice before making her way in, her mother is reading the Bible. She closes the door then settles on the couch, her mother closes the bible taking off her reading glasses then pays attention to Zendaya.

Zendaya:"Mama I hate it when we fight, I just need answers" she says sadly looking down.

Gloria:"I won't tell you anything about that monster. Yes he is your father but your real father is Sieve, he raised you and loved you. Zodec will never be your father!" she says fumming. Zendaya exhales in defeat and looks at her mother.

Zendaya:"Look at me Mama! I have been through traumatic experiences, I have cancer so please tell me the truth, it's all I want to know. Why did you lie to me all this years?" she says in a pleading voice.

Gloria can only imagine everything her daughter went through, the pain and torture. Her heart bleeds for Zendaya but she doesn't want her being part of Zodec's life, he will taint her pure daughter. It's already hard for her knowing he found her but she was willing to run away with them and this time he won't find them, not ever! He blames Zodec for everything that happened in her life! She blames him for the dissappearance of Kem, for Debra dating him, for her running away and for her being part of the slavery chain.

Gloria:"Me and him were once happy and in love but things changed when my first born son dissappeared at the hospital. I was devasted so I went away for some time then a few months later I went back home, hoping me and him would fix things and build a life. Unfortunately he moved on with my older half sister, Debra. I was hurt but healed, one afternoon 7 years later we got busy and you got conceived. During my pregnancy I ran away in fear of loosing you, he didn't bother looking for you all this years till he reached me and started claiming you"

She confesses in tears, reliving the past hurt her. Zendaya stands up and joins her mother, hugging and comforting her. She also finds herself in tears, the story didnt mention Zodec as the bad guy. She actually feared that maybe he r***d her mother but he didn't, he loved her but she ran away. She refused with her, this felt like betrayal to zendaya. She... She blames her mother, she understands that she feared for zendaya but why didn't she let Zodec know? Now she wants to stop her from building a relationship with him? That's not going to happen but she will remain silent about it.

They both cried till the fell asleep in each other's arms, all in all Zendaya missed her mother so bad.
