We embraced the challenge of filming the Ultra X Jordan 5-day ultramarathon in the hostile 50-degree heat of the Wadi Rum desert. ⁠
~⁠
There are no hotels in the desert - that meant sleeping under the stars. By 9 am, it was 40 degrees - and rapidly rising.⁠
~⁠
Our mission was to capture a large archive of material to edit a 30-minute documentary whilst producing daily recap films. This meant driving hours out of the desert to a small hut that had enough signal to curate and upload a short film - before driving straight back to the heart of the desert - to capture the action and beat the rising sun.⁠
~⁠
With that said - we loved every second of it. Navigating such an, especially brutal environment was a challenge that forced us to grow, adapt and improve - fortunately, that's something we do best.⁠
