LLIST Records was created in 1981 by musician/ songwriter / producer Doug Phillips to record and distribute music created by local bands and songwriters. Some of the artists on the Llist Records roster included The Sharks, Bu**er West, and Parts & Labor. In addition to the record label, Doug Phillips maintained and operated DANE STUDOS which produced numerous demos for local groups that included T

he Innocence Mission, Poison (aka Paris), Stiletto, Quentin Jones, Cellophane Shelia, Andy King, Chuck Cahill, and Joe Milsom, to name a few. In 1990, LLIST Records was acquired by singer, songwriter, producer Quentin Jones. Under the direction of Quentin Jones, the label thrived, producing and signing famed national, as well as international artists such as The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns,

In January 2022, Doug Phillips re-acquired LLIST Records and rebranded the company as LLIST MUSIC GROUP LLC.
