New video out, this week I was a bit late, but I made it before Sunday at least, woohoo!

This video is the first video in an 8 part series I have planned for the channel, a segment I am calling Asian Movie Roulette.

I have picked movies from several differnet Asian countries, this time 8 and at the start of every episode I spin a wheel to see which of the films is going to be presented in that episode.

Might not be able to get anything out for this week. My screen time has been significangly lower than usual lately because the weather is getting better. Gonna start working soon and after that I'm moving so I think this summer might be really slow for me creatively.

New Review out for the movie Tokyo Psycho (2004)

Tokyo Psycho is a 2004, low-budget horror film that tries really hard to be something good. But every attempt seems to fail miserably. Even at the short runtime of slightly above an hour, it ends up feeling like a compilation of horror tropes that just do not do anything for you as a viewer. A sad destiny for a horror film.

Emotion (1966)
directed by: Nobuhiko Ōbayashi

Fully formatted review with screencaps available at: https://kantoku.org/2021/04/27/emotion-1966/

Emotion is a 1966 short film directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. A director who, I, recently, has taken an incredible liking to and admire with great respect. His visual style is everything I could have ever wished for and more and there is not a single second where I am not taken aback by the incredible amount of creativity in his filmmaking.
