🚨BREAKING: Gospel musician accuses VW Menlyn of selling him a defective VW Caravelle 2025 worth about R1.6 million
Songwriter and musician, Oncemore Six, has made shocking claims that VW Menlyn in Pretoria sold him a defective VW Caravelle 2025 valued at about R1.6 million, which he purchased in January this year.
The “Nginobufakazi” hitmaker, says he and his family were excited to finally own the brand-new Caravelle as it would allow them to travel comfortably together — but the experience quickly turned into a nightmare.
He explains that shortly after taking delivery, the vehicle began showing multiple faults — from a sliding door that sounds like an old Hiace, to an infotainment system that blacks out, and a whistling sound coming from the engine.
Since then, the family has been in and out of the dealership as VW Menlyn attempted numerous repairs, but the issues remain unresolved. Six says he requested a replacement vehicle, but the dealership refused, insisting that they could only repair the car — something they have failed to do successfully.
He adds that at one point, VW had the car for over three weeks, but when it was finally returned, the very problems they claimed to have fixed were still there.
Describing the ordeal, Six said it has been “a horrible experience, especially for a brand-new car.”
He asked for anyone who can point them in the right direction to have this issue resolved urgently to reach out to his family.
