Sadly, our health issues have NOT taken a Summer Vacation, and we will still have PLENTY to share with you once we return!

Updates.. Zhen E with a Z has been dealing with Trigeminal Nerve Pain... because why not..

And Amy with an A has had some encouraging updates with her health.

Happy International Women's Day!! To celebrate, we want you to get to know our two podcasters!

Amy Schaefer is a 2000 alumnus from the University of Northern Iowa, with a BA in Theatre. She has been on stage and involved in the arts for over 20 years. She has been a Coralville, Iowa resident since 2018, where she, her husband, and their son, Colin, currently reside. She is also the Administrative Assistant for United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties. After battling a few health conditions, and navigating through the healthcare system, her experiences led her to become an advocate for health and well being of others, which eventually led her to meet her podcast partner, Zhen E....with a Z. She is happy to share her experiences on this podcast...with a little humor from time to time....and encourages everyone that is listening to find their voice, and advocate for their bodies and a positive quality of life.
