as I watched my tiny human tonight,
I was in awe
for so many reasons...

My baby was bursting, exploding with vocabulary
& filling my mama heart with pride & joy & love.
My baby was recognizing patterns and establishing connections.
They explained it all to me.
But I didn't understand
& it didn't matter, really.
I simply sat there, fascinated, taking it all in.
How did my baby figure this out?
So many words & numbers & directions.

But my baby is so smart.

But my baby is so smart.
& always was & always will be, so smart.

A tiny neurodivergent human, empowered in their element, thriving from the energy that their special interest gives them.
