Our Story
Américas, the Johns Hopkins Journal of Latin American Studies, is a publication run by students of Johns Hopkins University in collaboration with the Program for Latin American Studies (PLAS). Our mission is to provide a multi-disciplinary forum for students, scholars and policy-makers from all over the world to present and discuss articles pertaining to Latin America, its issues and its diaspora.
