“Lami ang sudan ma’am.”
An opinion I would never forget after serving them an ordinary bihon with rice.

These kids hiked for an hour to the SULADS HS campus with an empty stomach, barefooted, they marched up the school with the hope of us sharing our meal with them. I told them to come during lunch time because we will be serving special dishes but to our surprise, 33 of them came at 8am hoping to join us for breakfast.

Purpose over Reward. The motives of the heart is very important. It is easy for us to focus on the reward and the benefits rather than the purpose of why we do what God desires of us. When self is set aside there is so much room for God to do His good and perfect will for us. Joy and perfect peace will we reap when our acts are wholly focused on glorifying Him and not self.
