If my child doesn’t want to be touched, don’t touch them. Don’t bribe them with candy, don’t pick them up and force them to hug or kiss you. Don’t pressure them when they’re uncomfortable. We are not teaching people pleasing here so respect my kids boundaries. If you don’t like that, you don’t need a spot in my kids life. They can say NO.
