​Success is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. Today, Antipolo National High School officially recognizes the Grade 7 students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and exemplary character throughout the school year.

Dr. Rowena B. Sison, Principal IV, warmly welcomed everyone with her opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, discipline, and character in achieving academic success. "Dagdagan ang tiyaga, dasal, magpasalamat, tumawag at humingi ng gabay mula sa Panginoon, dahil hindi makakamit ang anumang bagay nang wala ito," her remarkable message to the learners.

Dr. Mara Angeli V. Bañares, an outstanding educator and a proud alumna of ANHS Batch 2006, served as the Keynote Speaker during the school’s 11th Moving Up Ceremony at the Ynares Center.

Dr. Bañares delivered a moving message centering on the theme Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character. She emphasized that while professional skill is vital, it is only half of the equation for success.

“Competence alone is not enough; competence will not define you, but your character will.”

She challenged the Grade 10 completers to rise as leaders who are anchored in strong moral values; and shared her mantra “happy cells” and “all is well” urging the learners to remain significant, and grateful for their journey.

Rizal Governor Hon. Nina Ricci A. Ynares graced Antipolo NHS’ Moving Up Ceremony showing her unwavering support to this year’s completers.

Governor Ynares shared four cornerstones for success- the value of hard work, the importance of gratitude toward parents and mentors, the power of prayer, and the lifelong shield of education.

“Education is the only weapon in life that cannot be taken away from you, it can only be enriched and expanded."

The Rizal Provincial Government provided the Ynares Center as venue for the year-end rites, free of charge—a gesture that underscores the province’s commitment to prioritizing its learners.

The City Government of Antipolo, led by Honorable Mayor Casimiro 'Jun' A. Ynares III, represented by Honorable Andrea B. Ynares, former City Mayor, recognized the invaluable contributions of Antipolo NHS’ dedicated and outstanding teacher and learner- Mr. Jeffrey V. Regalario and Jomel Perez.

The Office of Deputy Speaker Ronaldo V. Puno, Representative of 1st Congressional District conferred the PUNO ng Galing Award for Faculty Excellence to Mrs. Joanna Bernadine L. Ladines of the English Department for her exemplary performance and commitment to the teaching profession.

Baranggay Sta Cruz, led by Brgy. Captain Cirilo “Bebot” Tenorio hailed Mr. Francis Mark A. Elbo of the TLE Department as the Natatanging G**o ng Brgy Sta. Cruz, together with the Top 3 Natatanging Mag-aaral from the Grade 10 completing class:

Dr. Rowena B. Sison, Principal IV of Antipolo National High School, delivered the State of the School Address (SOSA) to present the institution’s current status and progress to its valued stakeholders.

The report highlighted key school statistics, providing insights into enrollment, performance indicators, and other essential data that reflect the school’s growth. Dr. Sison openly discussed the challenges faced by ANHS, including areas that require continued support and improvement, while presenting evidence-based solutions and strategies implemented to strengthen teaching, learning, and overall school development.

The SOSA is also a celebration of the school’s accomplishments, recognizing the collective efforts of learners, teachers, and partners in achieving milestones throughout the year. Key takeaways emphasized the importance of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility in sustaining the school’s progress.

Through the SOSA, Antipolo National High School reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of the resources and support entrusted by its generous stakeholders and the community.

Antipolo NHS- Gender and Development (GAD) invited the Provincial Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Canine Unit–Rizal as resource speakers to introduce and discuss PROJECT A.B.K.D. (Awareness on Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties).

Teachers were educated on the importance of safety, preparedness, and vigilance against explosive-related threats. The EOD team provided in-depth discussions on bomb awareness, response, and management; as well as safe identification, elimination, and disposal of materials that pose risks to public safety.

The seminar highlighted the conduct of investigations and preventive measures to ensure a safe learning environment.

Through the initiative, ANHS strengthened its commitment to promoting a culture of security, awareness, and shared responsibility, reinforcing the message that “security is everybody’s concern.”
